Here I have tried to focus on the comparison between Vivekananda’s socialism with Marxism including similarities and differences between Vivekananda and Marxism. Swami Vivekananda was a great thinker. He is known to have realized the divinity in every being. He is also known to have preached across the world that we must learn to see every individual as God manifestation in flesh and blood. On the other hand, You know that Marxism is a method of socioeconomic analysis. It uses a materialist interpretation of historical development, better known as historical materialism, to understand class relations and social conflict as well as a dialectical perspective to view social transformation. Marxism seeks to explain social phenomena within any given society by analyzing the material conditions and economic activities required to fulfill human material needs. As Marxism has developed over time into various branches and schools of thought, there is currently no single definitive Marxist theory.
On the other hand, spiritualism played a major role in Vivekananda's ideas. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. He showed that Vedic religion had influenced Buddhism which again was instrumental in influencing Christianity. He told that all the religions of the world have the same value and importance. Social service was an essential aspect of Vivekananda’s ideas, and an innovation which deviated from both Advaita Vedanta and Ramakrishna. He nevertheless attributed these ideas to both, trying to reconcile them with his own ideas.
In this respect, there are many similarities between the Marxism and the philosophy of Vivekananda.
But there are also vast differences between that two ideas. Almost all sides are discussed in this video.

যতদিন সমাজ, অর্থনীতি, মেহনত, উৎপাদন ব্যবস্থা থাকবে ততদিন মার্কসবাদ কখনোই অতীত হবে না। বস্তুজগত থাকবে , অথচ বস্তুবাদ থাকবে না এটা হতে পারে! তবে একথা বলতেই পারেন যে আরো নতুন নতুন বস্তুবাদ আসবে।
উপনিষদ বলেছে ব্রহ্ম তার শরীর থেকে জীবের সৃষ্টি করেছেন, আবার বলেছে, তুমি যখন ব্রহ্মকে সম্পূর্ণ রূপে উপলব্ধি করতে পারবে, তখন তুমি নিজেই ব্রহ্ম হয়ে যাবে । অর্থাৎ মানুষ আর ঈশ্বর একই । স্বামীজী এই কথারই প্রচার করেছেন ।

আলোচনা সুন্দর করেছেন কিন্তু কিছু ফাঁক থেকে গেল যেমন শ্রমিক শ্রেনীর নেতৃত্বে বিপ্লব তার মানে এই না যে অন্যান্য সমাজ অংশ গ্রহণ করবে না এ কথা মার্কস বলেন নি ।নেতৃত্বে কেন শ্রমিক শ্রেনী তাও মার্কস ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন।

As civilization moves ahead material and economic benefits alone will not be able to define and fulfill the needs for knowledge and life, and spirituality will gather momentum. Perhaps next generation philosophers will explore ways to bring philosophy of Swami Vivekananda and Marx together and Swamiji's ideology will gain importance on international stage.
To some extent, I agree with you. I have also the same dream about a common ideology. But I think, in future there will be no such common ideology as the clash between science and spiritualism continues..

After Einstein gave matter energy inter convertibility theory Tesla said that, what East knew for five thousand years West is understanding now. Agreement, disagreement and understanding will go on simultaneously. If I disagree it means I am considering the matter. All the more so if wise people disagree. Church and Pope disagreed with Galileo, which gave him lot of importance. Which became a blessing in disguise for Galileo.

Please read the book Indian philosophy in Modern times by the Russian philosopher Brodov published from Moscow. He explained that Vivekananda and Marx had similar views on the future of the world. Vivekananda talks about four phases of the world , world where the intellectual ruled, world where the feudal warriors ruled and world where the business community rules which is the present world. Future world will be ruled by the sudras of the world.

Marxism as a theory & practical on the basis of reality is very tough since and also there are so many differences in reality depend upon and deferred country to country always. May be fundamental crises are same but ins and outs problems are discriminated or different country to another that no one can rebut.
But the socialism along with spiritual application towards our society will be more or less same towards mankind in our world.
Read not "deferred" but "different"

"স্টালিন বাদ " বলতে কিছু নেই। মার্ক্সবাদ লেনিন বাদ দুইটা জিনিস নয়। এক জিনিস। মার্ক্সবাদ কে update করছেন লেনিন, এইজন্য লেনিন বাদ বলা হয়। লেনিন, স্টালিন, মাও তাহারা মার্ক্সবাদের authorities. মার্ক্সবাদ সম্পর্কে আপনার জ্ঞান খুব সীমিত ক্ষমা করবেন।
"মানুষই ঈশ্বর" মানে "মানুষই সব"। এই বাক্যের প্রয়োগ মার্ক্সীয় দর্শন বোঝানোর জন্য করা হয়েছে। অলৌকিক ঈশ্বর ধারনাকে কার্ল মার্ক্স নস্যাত করে ঈশ্বরকে সরিয়ে মানুষকে তাঁর দর্শনের কেন্দ্রে স্থাপন করেছেন। সেজন্য রূপক অর্থে তাঁর কাছে "মানুষই ঈশ্বর"। আসলে শব্দের সংকীর্ণ অর্থে আপনি আটকে গেছেন। ...... আর মার্কসবাদ থেকে লেলিনবাদ, স্টালিনবাদ ইত্যাদির উদ্ভব। প্রত্যেকটিরই পৃথক অস্তিত্ব আছে। মার্ক্সবাদ আর লেনিনবাদ -- এক জিনিষ ----- এসব কোথায় পেলেন? ... স্টালিনবাদ নেই --- একথা আপনাকে কে বললে? ..... আপনি এত কিছু জানেন , একটু কষ্ট করে একবার গুগল অথবা উইকিপিডিয়া করে দেখে নিয়ে মন্তব্যটি করলে সবার উপকার হতো।
আপনে মার্ক্সবাদ গুগুল আর উইকিপিডিয়া পড়ে বুঝেন না কি ? না CPM এর মার্ক্সবাদ পড়ছেন।
আমাকে অনেক কিছুই পড়তে হয়। মার্কসবাদ যেখানে যা পেয়েছি, পড়েছি। সহজ করে বুঝতে যে বইটি পড়েছি, সেই বইটির নাম ডেসক্রিপশনে দিয়ে দিয়েছি (মার্ক্সবাদ by দেবীপ্রসাদ চট্টোপাধ্যায়) । তবে হ্যাঁ, গুগুল এবং উইকিপিডিয়াও মন দিয়ে পড়ি। CPIMএর প্রকাশিত মার্কসবাদের উপরে কোন বই পড়িনি। তাতে মার্কসবাদ সম্পর্কে ধারণা তৈরি করে নিতে আমার কোন অসুবিধা হয়নি। মার্কসবাদ বুঝতে CPIMএর কোন বই পড়তেই হবে --- এটা আমি বিশ্বাস করিনা।

'মানুষকে' কার্ল মার্ক্স দেখেছেন শ্রেণী দৃষ্টিভঙ্গিতে। দুইজন বড় মানুষ, মানুষেকই ভালবেসে সমস্ত জীবন কাজ করে গেছেন। এখন কার্ল মার্ক্সের "মানুষ" বলতে আমরা কি বুঝবো ? পুজিঁপতি মানুষ, শ্রমিক মানুষ, হিন্দু মানুষ( ভারতবর্ষের প্রেক্ষাপটে),মুসলিম মানুষ , ব্রাহ্মণ মানুষ, দলিত মানুষ, বাঙালি মানুষ ,আসামিস মানুষ ইত্যাদি ।
দুইজনের দর্শন মিলাতে গিয়ে "ঈশ্বর কে কার্ল মার্ক্সের সঙ্গে যুক্ত করাটা উচিত নয়।আমি মনে করি । কারণ কার্ল মার্কস একজন খাঁটি নাস্তিক মানুষ ছিলেন।
জেগে থাকা মানুষের ঘুম ভাঙানো কারও পক্ষে সম্ভব নয়। তাই এ বিষয়ে no comments. ..... ভালো থাকুন।

There cannot be any comparison between them .Swamiji is a Hindu Yogi while Mr Marx is a political commentater and economist with his personal ideas suited to European circumstances .I do not agree if that is true then why did the Soviet Union got dissolved and failed .Mr Marx's ideas are limited they cannot be applied in every society while Swamiji's is universal
and eternal .
Here the comparative discussion is made not between a Hindu Yogi and an Economist, but between two different philosophies. So why comparison can't be made? ...... Yes, I think, marxism has limitations too. But nothing on this planet is perfect, universal, even the philosophy of Vivekananda.
