Odin Makes: Green Goblin's pumpkin bomb from Spider-Man: No Way Home

- Today I make the Green Goblin's Pumpkin bomb, as seen in Spider-Man and soon in Spider-Man: No Way Home!
This is a full scratch build! I make my prop using EVA foam and Adafruit LEDs.

The three items I used from Adafruit are:
ItsyBitsy nRF52840 Express - Bluetooth LE
Micro-Lipo Charger for LiPoly Batt with USB Type C Jack
Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 500mAh

Sounds like a tough challenge. He would need to make a sort of chest piece on his back that is stable to attach the arms to. Then those arms would need to be sold solid material that stays rigid but can be bent and then add foam onto them
@@santi_super_stunts2573 or, just go all doc ock from the movie, attack metal claps that clamp onto your stomach, and then those weird needle things (im joking lol)

To think we live in an age where it makes complete sense/is completely normal for someone to casually say, “this probably should have been 3D printed” is just crazy.
Not even 5 years ago, 3D printing was like a bougie specialty trade- now, it’s everywhere
That’s where I’m at as a maker. I’d love to get a 3D printer and print all of the things, but I still love scratch building and making things by hand! No reason I can’t do both though!

You just explained, in a round about sort of way, the way global projections work on a map! A good conal, or cylindrical, projection would do the job! Yeah, I studied geography in college.

I've been searching for a metallic orange paint forever. Still can't find one. Programming lights intimidates me. I'm very impressed with how yours turned out. And...the blinking lights were nearly in time with your closing music.

Guest what I bought a spider man no way home 📀 on Target store.
This is a tip I got about doing car and motorcycle minis, so I don't know how applicable it would be (or even if you had clear orange on hand XD), but I've been told that to get really good colored metallics, it's best to do a clear paint over something like chrome silver. So in this case, a clear yellow or orange.
It came out looking great in the copper though!

FYI: The big circle that lights on top and on the bottom is actually a button to activate the bomb

The programed leds really take this prop to another level
Odin you master genius! You’re skills are becoming more and more advanced. Soon you’ll be able to do just about anything. Even if 3D printing would be easier, this foam version is just super impressive. The details, the effects, the skill it takes to make something this good by hand. Just wow
