The switch isn’t the GB1/2 mode select. It’s the indoor and outdoor settings. The GB1/2 setting changer is by holding the bottom 2 buttons down until it flashes to switch to the GB2 sequence of lights. And holding the top 2 buttons would mute it.
Sanding down any manufacturer's info is always one of the first things I do with all my Ghostbusters gear, or any mass produced prop replica. Just a personal tick, probably, but I think it's one of the easiest ways to make something look and feel a lot less like a toy. And I do like the 'shipping crate' motif of the Matty Collector gear, but I also like the 'old metal tool chest' motif of the Hasbro/HasLab gear. The more muted colors put the Hasbro packaging a notch higher for me, but that's purely down to personal taste. Conceptually, both packaging styles are great, both are well executed...can't fault either.
Its cool it “warns” the P.K.E Meter will explode if bombarded with intense levels of P.K.E and we saw that happen this year in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The Matty Prop released in 2010. Coincide or intentional, still a fun detail. Too much of something is never good.

Where?
You didn't mention the current Hasbro trap and PKE two in the box. have you seen or heard about it?
@@MightyMorpinMatt I have two ordered so will do a proper comparison video when they eventually ship!
All things considered? The matty gear isn't/wasn't all that bad. Especially the meter. Though, I do think the hasbro gear is leagues better.
My biggest letdown with the matty props was the goggles, so i sold them on.. I loved the trap, pke, and Wand
I bought the Matty props in 2020 or 2021 and way overpaid for them. I ended up selling them not long after. Glad to know the prices have gone down.
Nice video. I've got all the matty collector ghostbusters toys. They are all great...especially the vibrating ghost trap. Glad you got some too.
