Fascinating show as always 👏 I'll never not be amazed at how many variants exist of every record. I certainly don't have any crazy rare copies of RNRO, but I'll never forget about 10 years ago record shopping with my brother and got a copy of RNRO for free, as part of a buy-one-get-one free deal. We got home and later joked, "How funny would it be if that was somehow a tear drop?" There was a quick laugh followed by a moment of silence. We looked at each other and then rushed to grab the record and sure enough- it actually was a tear drop!! 😂
Always excited to see a new episode, been watching since the very beginning. I am not on Facebook, nor a vinyl collector, but I love seeing all the different covers and labels. I bought the 3 volume Rockologists books with all the labels and the “rarest” albums at the time. Cool to see these updated episodes, and love you guys sharing all the vinyl knowledge. Also, really dig the collectibles episodes with John 5 showing off his incredible collection! Keep making em and we’ll keep watching em. 🤟

For the UK PYE red vinyl series, Rock And Roll Over, Destroyer and Alive have standard Filmworks labels. Destroyer I have already and have heard about Alive. So, in theory there are 10 records in the red vinyl series (3 with only Filmworks and 7 with the Love Gun Filmworks labels).
One I think you all have but didn’t mention is the copy of RARO in the Originals II set. Not an uncommon one, but definitely would fall under the Japanese versions. Also surprised no one had a French copy with the red labels
Not when they are printing red on the cover. Red on the inside dos not cost any more money. The LP is going for $149 now and that is a cash grab. Especially when you guys pick up 4 copies. Is Dynasty 4th an official release?
It has to go through the machine twice to get the red on the inside. There's no way that isn't an added expense. Literally every time an artist releases an album, whether new or a reissue, it is a cash grab. That's what they do for a living. That's like saying that you going to work on a Tuesday is a cash grab.

You can also find Alive and Destroyer with Love Gun labels in the red series. The only one I haven't seen with a LG label is RARO
