Challenge Wednesday is my favorite! No wait, maybe it’s mix media Monday! Or maybe scrapy Saturday! Forgotten Friday? I give up…enjoy them all! Haven’t missed any since I found your channel. A great way to keep working on my goal of being a life long learner.
Another great Wednesday Challenge, I'm always amazed at the end, how mucjh gets done. Challenges are a challenge sometimes - its the commitment I struggle with ❤❤
Hi Gayle, love the cards with the lace and scrunched music paper. The envelopes can become addictive, I watched Rachel and then Wendy; my jury came in that the window is too aggravating. I followed Wendy’s tutorial and I’m having great fun making them.
Thanks for your honest reactions to the challenges, I struggled with both the Marguerite Miller and Roxy’s. I kept telling myself, I know Gayle will do it so I’m not giving up. Thanks for giving up a trip to Hobby Lobby to craft with us. Hugs❤
Those bunnies are so cute! I need to remember to use my larger pieces of lace more often. I’m glad you made some of Rachel’s challenge with no window. That window is too fiddly for me. Have a Blessed day!
Once again, I love everything you do! Such an inspiration. And I have to say, I'm also enjoying which veggie pops up when you're gluing. lol Hugs, Carolyn
What I love about Wednesdays with you is Roxys' weekly challenge the most, and I do love Margret Miller, but sometimes those prompts confuzzle me. Both you and Rachel are so much fun and both such an inspiration 😊
Love your channel! You keep me company when cleaning, or getting things done off hours in my art classroom. I often stop to try what you are doing. You have so many great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
When I get a chance, I like to watch your videos while having my morning coffee. I had just taken a sip and nearly blew coffee out my nose when you asked, "Do you have to make noise to make cornbread?"!! I thought that was so funny, Gayle! And then you said, "I don't know." I giggled and giggled. 🤣 I love your video. I thought everything turned out great! The #littlebitsoflace2024 is great! I have some fat vintage lace that will work perfect for this! Thanks for sharing! 😘
You triumphed, Gayle! Refusing to give in, giving things a good go, and all with a laugh in your voice. I call that triumph. But if those pockets aren't enjoyable for you, that's OK...plenty of other 'fish in the sea'. I do admire your spirit. ❤❤❤ Belinda xxx
Good Day Gayle, just wonderful ideas with the lace, Gayle you did a wonderful job with Roxy's challenge, enjoy your day, its 70 F here today, big hugs.
Good morning Gayle!! Cute MM collage and I love the lace and scrunched paper on the index cards. Those envelope flip pockets would hurt my brain!! 😂 But you did very good. Have an awesome day...💜
I love your challenge projects. You were zippy on the MM collage. It only took 12 minutes from the time you welcomed us. It’s fun to see how fast you get the collage together. The little bits of lace journal cards are adorable. I can see why they fit in most any journal. I love Rachel’s challenges but on some I can see that it’s going to take time and fiddling to get the results I want. lol I love your interpretation.
Good Morning Gayle!! Awesome projects today!! Those "darned" envelopes came together very nicely in the end!! I find the projects that are a bit difficult at the beginning become easier the more I do!! TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
Exquisite as ALWAYS!! The index with lace is beautiful and easy!! I hope your shower is finished soon. “Wednesdays are the perfect time to remind yourself that you are a work in progress.” - Unknown. Huge HUGS and Blessings for you and Mike. Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
I liked your bits of lace today. Pretty! And your take on the envelope pocket too. Also i can tell you've lost weight by how slender your hands sre! Good job! You're a joy! TFS🤗
Mornin' Gayle. Challenge indeed. The envelopes are cool but if you struggled with them I can only imagine what my struggle with them will be. 😏 The lace challenge is soooo easy I think I can handle it. 😆 TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞 (whoo hoo on the bathroom being worked on! 👏👏👏)
Happy Wednesday sis! Loving challenge day! Always so fun! I found the Roxy challenge a bit too time intensive for me so I didn’t do more then one. Have a beautiful and blessed day! Love you! ❤
First week in 11 that I've watched your Margarete before filming my own (life, ugh!) ... Thankfully, one of my napkin swaps came in the mail that helped direct me or I would still be lost!
Hi Gayle! Loved the MM challenge and I did some of the little bits of lace challenge. I totally blew the Roxy challenge. I even came back and rewatched it, 😂. I guess that is why it is called a challenge. 😊 Your flip pockets turned out gorgeous! Enjoy your evening! ❤
Good morning my dear friend, we have been blessed with another beautiful sunny morning here. I enjoyed this video. I always learn something new. I hope that your bathroom renovation goes well and you don’t have to wait too long to use it. I am enjoying a quiet, relaxing morning. I hope you have a great day. Take care and I will see you in the next video. May God bless you and your wonderful family always. Your friend Cindy, from a small town in Northern Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Heyyyy Gayle! I just wanted to say how much I admire you in more ways than one being your kindness and your craft. Thank you for being such an awesome voice in our paper crafting and mixed media communities. Also, aren’t those sticker book the BEST?! I have the Bibliographia one so far and love it for working on collage it masterboards.
Thanks so much! And, yes!!! I’d be sunk in the MM challenge without my sticker books! Plus I love them because they make me feel like I’m 10 again playing with a sticker book! 😂❤
Hi Gayle nice work ! Great idea using envelope with pocket & flap - could perhaps use as over the page in a journal & clip with paperclip - ie collage the back also (?) …. That was a mantra my mum used to say to me constantly “Never ever ever give up” ; was a poignant moment when you said that also …Happy Days 🌸🦋🌷
Hi Gayle💕 You totally rocked all the challenges and I like how your envelopes turned out. I'm not very good with the envelopes, I think its the plastic not sure to keep it or trash it. 😂 Hope you day was amazing, hugs! 🤗
I had my first colonoscopy this year. I was nervous at first. I prepared myself by two weeks earlier I wend down my snacking. Two days before I started drinking more than eating. Helped to have hard candy. 😂 The day before I was still at work and had to do all my liquids and then went home and started the clean out juice. It really was not bad. You get music and jokes until your out. 😂Good news not a thing to remove.😊 Also FYI it is recommended now at age 45 sometimes young.
Good morning Gayle! Love the lace index cards. The Rachel pocket/envelopes are are a bit of work but so pretty. Thank you so much for breaking it down for us. You've made Rachel's challenge so much easier to do, I really appreciate it.♥♥♥♥♥
Gayle, I don't know if I ever shared but my best friend is also named Diane. We have known each other since we were seven years old. We always have a great time together.❤️ I agree with you about how fast the weeks and months go by. Sweet, little bit of lace project. I love the look of white lace on coffee dyed paper. I love simplicity. You and Mike have had some major house projects the last few years. Old houses do require facelifts every now and again. They are just as expensive as personal facelifts (which I also need)🥴 Those passing weeks and months sure do havoc on the old body. Sending Hugs and happiness, Gayle.
@@gayleagostinelli_ct same here. I lost 20+ pounds during the year of my three surgeries. I am working on NOT gaining that back. BUT, yeah, now you have to deal with saggy skin. 🫣 Not pretty 🤣
Good morning my friend. Glad your bathroom is progressing without fear of pipe freezing. Thank you for the tip for using fancy ribbons. Made a dramatic hidden paper clip with green velvet & gold glitter netting. Wooo hoo.

Good morning Gayle! I think both Marguerite Miller and Roxy's challenges looked a bit more difficult than usual. I loved the Little Bits of Lace though. They were simple, more my speed 😂 I understand about taking care of our baby boys (mine are 43 and 48). Could you maybe make one of those little bits of lace cards for the ‘60s journal, and use a hair clip (or even Bobby pin) to hold it together at the top? Hmm, you’d probably have to staple it first, then hide the staple with the hair clip, cause I imagine the hair clip alone wouldn’t be able to hold it together. Not sure if lace fits in with the theme, but I’m sure, with your creativity, you could come up with something fitting to use - I’m thinking that eyelet lace you used today would be fine though(?).
