I was there on vacation in the summer and when I saw the track look like I was out of the bus window during a half-day trip to Durrës, it shocked me a lot. The guide was Albanian, but he knew Czech and said he had only one functional railroad track, but I do not think so much. Otherwise, a nice example. LIKE.
Well at least they're loco hauled and have those carriages and the loco hauled carriages normally tend to be comfortable and the windies can be opened by a lot and the trains may not have air con but you get the wind.
I am compiling a video of railroad networks across Europe. I have not had a chance to film this system and was wondering if I could use 30 seconds of your footage? I would be more than happy to list your channel as credits under the description once I put out the video. :)
@@marinrusi7835 Well the country is investing into highways and roads... And the railway company can't even afford to buy fuel anymore. So i don't see them coming back soon.

Ein interessantes Land und äußerst sehenswert. Ich war selbst 2014 dort. Bin aber leider nicht mit der Bahn gefahren.
oder zum Glück nicht mir diesen dreckigen kaputten und gefährlichen Bahn...

No problem Timosha21, you can use it.
RIP the Albanian Railway.
The last train was on the 31st of August.
Is this true?
@@marinrusi7835 Yup
@@Yassified3425 That's sad, it'll be decades for it to be back up now. I reckon not before 2050.

@@Yassified3425 Do they really have to make the same mistakes the Western Europe already made? More radically, though.
To wygląda jak wąskotorówki w Polsce. Greetings from Poland
Lokomotywy tak, ale te albańskie są nieco większe i silniejsze.
Same locomotives since I was a kid and now I am 43 years old.
30 years since communism and railway is in shameful state!
How about it's in worse state?! Now we don't even have trains!
@@marinrusi7835 yes, the train is still running
