Nice Work making this video! Forgive me for not being able to write in your native language! This is what a lot of branch lines looked like in the U.S. in the 1970s! I commend the railroaders who are trying to maintain a safe service on this line, which I observe from the skeletons of the signal appliances, has seen much better days!

Veľmi zaujímavé video. Taktiež by ma zaujímalo, že aká tam bola priemerná rýchlosť niekde na šírej trati, ale v tých miestach, čo sú v lepšom stave, ak to viete. Ďakujem.
Despite the fact that trains in Albania are terribly slow, this train also ran 11 minutes behind schedule, excluding the cut part later in the video.

Děkuji. Rychlost vlaku se pohybuje v rozmezí 20-30 km/h. Strojvedoucí jezdí velmi úsporně - uspořená nafta se vždycky hodí. Nejvyšší dosažená rychlost byla 50 km/h.
Zdravím, dva dny zpátky jsem přijel z Albánie a co mě velmi zamrzelo, že jsem z časových důvodů neměl tu možnost se projet vlakem. Teoreticky, kdyby se nejednalo o speciálně objednaný vlak: myslíte, že by byl velký problém se dostat na stanoviště, ideálně za jízdy? Přece jen mě překvapilo, že mladší generace angličtinu celkem ovládá, ale ta asi zase tipuju nepůjde dělat strojvedoucího. :D
Pokud vím, neexistuje žádný úsek v lepším stavu, než jaký je na videu. V této zemi je železnice naprostou Popelkou, peníze. které Albánie dostala na zlepšení železniční infrastruktury od EU svévolně použila na výstavbu silniční sítě. Darované vozy "Halberstadt" z Německa sice za evropské peníze dostaly aspoň nový lak, ale sám jsi v závěru viděl, jak po pár měsících vypadají. Aspoň že o Čmeláky ČKD se místní strojvedoucí jakž takž starají...
Masakra, ale mógłby przecież pojechać te 50 km.na godzinę czy jest aż tak bardzo źle że nie może pojechać szybciej?
No gdyby mógł, to pewnie by pojechał. Stan torowiska, lokomotywy i całego składu jest po prostu opłakany.

3 Years ago ive heard the line will be rehabilitaed but that was 3 years ago, also very nice video, i suggest u should do more train vids in Albania :)

Asi jediná trať čo sa v tom "Európskom Bangladéši" používa a žije...
Ještě se jezdí v úsecích Bajzë - Lac (občasná nákladní doprava a poutní osobní vlaky ze Škodry do Lacu) a Fier - Vlorë (časté nákladní vlaky). Poslední jmenovaný úsek dokonce prošel modernizací.

@@zilinskakarosa Celá trať Tirana (Kashar) - Durrës prochází kompletní modernizací, která zahrnuje i vybudování odbočky na letiště. V prosinci 2022 bylo dokončeno 35 % stavebních prací.
@@malard97 Tak oni predsa len plánujú udržať tú železnicu... a takéto info si cením keďže ja neviem tú hatlaninu a tak nič nezistím.

The wheel flanges make constant contact and have to correct the left/right direction of the train, even in light curves. This a very bad sign: I would never, ever enter such trains.
I read this is the only line there is left in Albania and it makes only on return trip a week, some time in the weekend.
I drove at this track last year. It was an unforgettable experience. The train sways back and forth. It was a lot of fun and the staff on the train are very nice and welcoming.
Even the most neglected railway siding in Europe is not in such a terrible state as the railway in Albania. Shame and shame. And the terrible mess everywhere!
That is a not-invested zone. I have been in Durres, and now EU is building the new railway with highspeed trains. The team that built the tallest building in the world is making the new touristic port. So don't worry for the mess, big change takes time! 🇦🇱🤝🇪🇺
