Good video Ekin of the town I grew up Elbasan. You have a wonderful personality. Simite me bugace you ate is Elbasan's staple breakfast but you have no idea how different simite was before 1990 especially in the 70's during communist dictatorship. Because the ingredients flour and butter were different absolutely organic or bio. Make sure you ask for ballokume if you can find them. I am quite impressed by Edward's English! I suspect he's lived in the States for a good while?

Oh, so It tasted a lot better back then if the ingredients were organic. But the one I had was also really good! Eduart can speak many languages as he traveled the world! Thanks so much for your comment :)
Well, you are the only traveler with a video from Elbasan which is known as the most polluted industrial town in Albania. Built by the ottoman as an outpost from where to attack Albanians during Scanderbeg time, has little touristic importance nowdays.

Yeah If there is an opportunity, I go to the places which are not very well known by the tourists. I didn’t notice it was so polluted tho. :))
Not really. Attaturk used to drink it like water. Comes from Fruit nothing Haram about it. You drink it as far as you can handle and not become an embarrasment.

@ Close to the town is the only steel mill in Albania and it has been the main source of pollution for the area.
