I've done the review for the ThinkPad E14 i5 12th Gen already but the Ryzen version is not available in my location as I live in dubai. Ryzen 5-7530 is a very good processor though.

which one should I buy? I know i9 will give better perfomance but will it also product more heat?
For the heat part, the difference is minimal and noticeable only when the cpu is at full load on battery. So, you should not worry about heating.

It is better to buy hp pavilion i5 12, at 63k... 14inch good display, good battery and overall best for students and proffesional... 16inch laptops are no good for students atleast.. It is huge and not effective for long terms even if you have to less travel.. 15.6 is idle, but 14inch is best

Both are very good laptops but the Asus VivoBook 16 comes with 13th Gen processor. HP Pavilion is also available in 13th gen specs but it is very expansive. I would say that the MSI modern 14 will be a very good option with the i5-1335U it is around 48K
