Received the 165Hz r0075TX variant yesterday.. It's just a beast. Also the support manual on hp website does mention about 2 SSD slots against my laptop's serial number. So I would recommend buying this version over the 144Hz one as Venom's tech confirmed it doesn't have an additional ssd slot

Isme battery backup bhi accha hai.. So 83k me isse better abhi koi nahi.. But aapko nitro v 73k me milta hai toh 10k ka difference hai aap decide kijiye ye additonal features k liye aapko jaana hai ya fir 73k me nitro v bhi best hai.

I think you should enable frametime monitoring in MSI afterburner. A lot of people are saying that frametime with DLSS frame generation is sometimes slower or their is latency. I don't think in story games it matters a lot but it would still be nice to know how is the frame time with frame generation.
frame pacing with frame gen is pretty much the same as normal if you don't enable vsync or your base frame rate is above 60 but if you have sub 60 frame rate then it causes problems
The latency is not noticeable as long as you are getting around 50 fps natively, other than that it starts to get noticeable at 40 and is annoying at around 30 fps, this was my experience in cyberpunk at least. I play the finals (Fps shooter) with frame gen and get 160fps, the latency is not noticeable at all there
They should have given more storage upgrade ports. My lenovo ideapad gaming laptop has 2 m.2 and 1 SATA port, which are now upgraded to 3.5 TB of storage. Still almost 2.2 TB are filled with games, virtual machines, docker images, etc.
83wh battery and fitting a sata port is quite hard and anyone would take the extra battery because with 2 m.2 slots you can get to 4tb and that's more than enough for most people

The wobble, even though a lot of people say its really bad and blah blah, in real life you won't even notice it coz you always place your laptop on a table or on your lap and won't move it a lot. I have been using a victus for the past year, it's not an issue at all.

I think better to go with the other varient of this laptop which is 3k to 4k extra in which you get 100%sRGB , 165hz display and Rgb keyboard ig which is worth spending 3k extra rather than basic 45% ntsc display !
mene bhi august 19 ko buy kiya tha yeh 2023 wala victus variant. But ya woh (Ryzen 5 5600h with RTX 3050 75W TGP, 70WH BTY, 144HZ Display, MS OFFICE PERMANNET, 16GB DDR4 RAM)wala tha. Ek cheez toh man ni padegi ki hp ne built quality, thermals, and wobbling issue ko pura fix kar diya hai new 2023 variants mein. 4 months of usage till now, tested many games like GTA 5, MILES MORALES, RDR2, FORZA HORIZON, CONTROL and few battle royales like Fortnite, PUBG PC, all games worked very well with an average of 60 fps and literally the thermals were good as comapre to previous gen models jaha temp 100+ chale jaate thhe. And talking about battery backup, yaar 70wh is literally so good for those students who have to carry their laptops to college etc. example in my case I watched 2 Movies of 2.5 hrs duration in a row, and seriously 43% was still remaining, and that too later lasted for more 1 and a half hour without battery saver. everything is good till now, agar koi future issue aaya toh update kar dunga :)

Ye laptop ke bohot kam units bane the, aur bas Amazon par listing hui thi. It was like promo type ka laptop, iska actual price atleast 1L+ jaata easily.
After this legion looks way more expensive with not good enough specs. A good legion slim 5 laptops is around 1.14L, and it has ryzen 7 7840hs (i5-13500HX is more capable) It has only a bit smaller battery 80WHr, rest specs are same. So I think Legion should either provide better specs or lower the price a lot to compete. Anyways I'm not a huge fan of HP laptops so will wait till either Asus or Legion Arive in the market with better stuff.
Been using the r0075TX variant for about 10 months now. Couple of specifications corrections: 1. RAM is upgradable to 64 GB (Done that) 2. It has 2 NVME slots and can support 4tb SSDs per slot (tried that). In general, for the price I paid (78K) it is a good laptop. It does have few issues: 1. No thunderbolt or even a 10gbps port. Every other laptop in the price range is coming with one. It is important for creators. 2. On battery the keyboard sometimes lags. 3. The MUX switch has bugs, sometimes it fails to switch to dedicated GPU if you're using programs like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere pro. In June, bought similarly spec'd Lenovo LOQ 15APH8 as well which is a slightly better device than the Victus, also it costed only 73K during sale.

Please make an informative video for beginners who want to do gaming. The last game I played was Project IGI on a low budget laptop 12 years ago. I haven’t touched a PC/Laptop to play games since. And now I’m thinking of getting a portable gaming system or console (bcoz I don’t stay at home). I don’t know if I should buy a gaming laptop or handheld console, and I also don’t know these new things like DLSS, etc. At that time I just installed and played whatever game I had to play and I don’t know much technicalities. I had bought HP victus last year and i can say i regret buying it, not because of performance but due to build quality. The built quality is poor, the centre hinges are terrible. My right side panel near the hinge opened one day and eventually developed crack in the panel. This is a very common issue in this model. I have been using my laptop with utmost care from the beginning as it had center hinges, but still it broke. This is a major design flaw in HP victus. I would ask people think twice before buying it. I was using Toshiba satellite L745 before and used it for 11 years, that one did not develop any sort of complaints, for an upgrade i switched to Victus and regret my decision.

In general, for the price I paid (78K) it is a good laptop. It does have few issues:
1. No thunderbolt or even a 10gbps port. Every other laptop in the price range is coming with one. It is important for creators.
2. On battery the keyboard sometimes lags.
3. The MUX switch has bugs, sometimes it fails to switch to dedicated GPU if you're using programs like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere pro.
In June, bought similarly spec'd Lenovo LOQ 15APH8 as well which is a slightly better device than the Victus, also it costed only 73K during sale.

@@Nrivolgs either nitro V or if u can slightly increase budget then Lenovo Loq with 95W 6gb 4050 but i5 12gen is listed for around 83k, so if u can get under 80k in offline market then could be good buy. But at this price point 4050 is minimum keep that in mind and imo better wait for sale season.

I had bought HP victus last year and i can say i regret buying it, not because of performance but due to build quality. The built quality is poor, the centre hinges are terrible. My right side panel near the hinge opened one day and eventually developed crack in the panel. This is a very common issue in this model.
I have been using my laptop with utmost care from the beginning as it had center hinges, but still it broke. This is a major design flaw in HP victus. I would ask people think twice before buying it. I was using Toshiba satellite L745 before and used it for 11 years, that one did not develop any sort of complaints, for an upgrade i switched to Victus and regret my decision.
