@@stonelifterheavy2720 I don't think Klay is all that athletic. I'd say they're about the same in that regard.
The difference is Hornacek was the one creating, and Klay isn't capable of creating.

People don't realize that Jeff Hornacek is probably as close to the 50/40/90 club than any other shooter of all time. The guy in today's NBA would TORCH the net.

Pretty good for a "plumber or tv repair man." I guess him hitting a basket with Scottie Pippin draped all over him, arguably one if the greatest defenders in NBA history means he couldn't get his shot off in today's NBA.

@@autoaim0335 90s stans are delusional. You don't need to have grown up in the 90s to have now how the defense was, all of the games are on youtube. It's not that impressive.
Even old NBA finals games between Lakers vs Celtics in the 80s or any if Jordan's finals when you expect the defense would be at its most physical and intense any objective person would recognize that its been extremely exaggerated how physical it was by just watching most games.
There were certain games and plays that got really physical but not as often as advertised.
The biggest difference in defense is that there's less spacing because most bigger players didn't have the skill to shoot from further away.
Hornacek was a borderline 1 time allstar in the 90s, there's no way he's even a starter today.
