i'm wondering how u go about listing and selling these. do u make all your rings in common sizes and then sell them or make a display ring of each style u want to sell and then make to order? or what would be the best way for someone new who hasn't sold any yet but has made some for fun. thanks.
Hey! I started by making a bunch and just having them for sale either to friends or family or some small markets around here. I maybe started with 50. However now I make a sample, photograph it and post it for sale and then everything is made to order.
@@DreamwoodRings thanks for the response. another question if i may. when u sold them to the small markets u asked them what sizes they would want before u made them?
I think slimmer would work ok. It makes it easier to bend for sure. I believe what I use is around .4mm. of after wrapping it's too thin of a ring you can always add another strip as well!
Nice 👍🏻
Never tried bentwood rings, I always do solid ones.
Maybe I will give it a try.
Can't wait for part 2😁
Thank you! I don't do a ton of bentwood rings anymore but they are useful in some circumstances!
Very cool like your website to very reasonable price tools :-)
Thank you!
What CA glue did you use?
We used a thin flex CA. shopdreamwood.com/products/insta-flex-flexible-thin-ca-glue-bsi-adhesives

what is the veneer thickness in mm ? 0,6 ? Would 0,2 mm be too slim ?
