It's a weird one because you could spend 1, 2+ hours craving it and thinking it will make the night better but after you get it and take your first line you're just chasing that high for the rest of the night and it never comes.
In the rehab I was in, I met a man who was addicted to coke. We both spent 6 months in this rehab. Every day, he would beg people for cigarettes, coffee, snacks, extra food, and soda. I learned from the staff that he was receiving a monthly ~$600 CAD welfare check, but he was saving every penny. After 6 months, he got his "certificate", pulled out his $3600, went straight to his dealer and within a week or two he was back in rehab. The staff whispered to me that he had simply been using rehab to save $ for coke, and had been stuck in this "loop" (in save $, out coke, in save $, out coke) for 8 years.
Last thing I remember, I was Running for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before "Relax, " said the night man "We are programmed to receive You can check out any time you like But you can never leave"

I hated coke so much when I would look at my bank account and when I'm laying in bed tossing and turning and looking for something to take to knock me out and if I didn't I'd get more coke and not stop until the next night bc I had to work that next day so I'd do it all night and all day then after work I'd be tired enough to sleep for 15+ hours then do it all over again. I couldn't drink on the job or something that would be noticed so this is what I did every day for 5 months. I had a huge amount of money and this caused me to worry bc I had a family to support. Addicts are addicts and if they like something and it makes them feel good they can't stop, but they can. Even addicts have will power and if they are in too deep they have to ask for help. I've had to do it several times. If I can anybody can.
Pain meds were exactly like this for me. Did coke for years but when i came across oxycontin that was it for me. Led to a good 10 years of abuse of opiates and now to this day still dependant on methadone. The methadone can and will help you get your life back on track if you really want it. But it can also be just as hard to get away from.
I remember I would run out at 3-4 in the morning and hit up every dealer possible and nun would answer And I’d eventually fall asleep and in the morning I would delete all the messages I would send the dealers in
How the hell are your sinuses still Intact?? I did coke for a couple years (2g every 2x months or so), and one day after I did a couple lines, my nose congested up and would be that way for a couple days. From that moment on, every time I did coke (regardless of how much) my nose would be completely plugged for days after.

Tried coke for the first time 2 weeks ago. I need help:( I fell in love with this girl that had an addiction to it before we met. She stopped doing it and hated everything about that drug because of how it left her feeling in the past. I moved to the other side of the world and we became distant, she started taking it again and I don’t know what to do. She doesn’t want to listen to me that it’s really bad for her and we both know where that path takes you. I really love this girl and want the girl I fell in love with back, but I don’t know how to get her help when I’m on the other side of the world.
