On 31/03/2014, my friends and I went through the toughest night of our lives. We had gotten news that one of our friends and her family had gotten in a horrible car accident on their way back from a road trip, five of the children had passed away. Two girls and three boys. They weren't sure who the other girl was, it might or might not have been our friend. We spent the entire night/morning searching, waiting for a confirmation, praying it's not her. Until it happened. We got certain news that it was her. In that moment, we had all lost something we couldn't replace. It was like a part of each of our souls disintegrated, never to be repaired. It's been a little less than five months now and we're still and forever will try to fix each other. This cover of the song choked me up but also reminded me of her laugh, her face, her slender hands. Asma, you'll forever be missed. We love you.

I really don't think any autotune was used here... He's using mic effects to give the vocals a cool feel to it. It gives it a nice vibe. But I really don't think barely any autotune was used here. I think Austin is simply an amazing singer, and I think people are a little ignorant and quick to judge. I'm a musician and I have a perfect ear for music. I can hear the tiniest little chord or note or pitch out of any song. And I know autotune. I work with it a lot. I honestly do not think autotune was used here. Don't be too quick to judge people. What pisses me off the most sometimes is people that think they know what they're talking about (with music) and they have no damn clue. Just listen to the music. I liked the video. I think it sounded pretty good. The kids got a really good voice. Keep it up

My heart races and falls apart every time I watch this video. You can see and hear in Kurt's beautiful piano playing, and especially in Austin's body language and incredible vocals, that the two of them really feel and connect to this song. That speaks volumes to me. They are real, honest mucisians.

But Austin Percario has one of the most unique voices. Seriously though, his voice gave me chills like none of the most popular artists have. Austin really put his heart into this one I can tell. I've been following him in his steps to fame since he auditioned for american idol (WITH his mom) lol. As a 13 yr experienced musician and vocalist myself I'd have to say he should be in the biggest leagues by now, and if I had his contact info I would be hooking him up right now.

Tasha Ormiston You're definitely right! I think sometimes people don't realize that almost EVERYTHING is autotuned…they just think nothing is autotuned. Some of my favorite youtube artists that actually DON'T autotune: Laura Zocca, Drew Tabor, and Kina Grannis :)
It's not auto-tune. People seriously are acting well stupid when it comes to music production. The things he's using is a pitch modifier - which he used on the challenging parts he couldn't reach which was barely any, and re-verb which they moved from the studio to the video and he lip synced. That's all it is.
He was on American Idol and that's his same voice .

It's true, Kurt seems to like guys with "compact" bodies, not too tall, with a similar face type, and very hairy armpitss. Kinda nice because he can share clothes. Date a guy, double his wardrobe! Do you know if Kurt went to the weddding?
I saw some people comment that the Boyce Avenue cover of Fix You was better. In my opinion, I feel as if Kurt and Austin grasped the emotion of this song better than Boyce Avenue. As a musician myself, I critique more than I should when I see someone perform- singing, dancing, etc. When I start to tear up because of the feeling pouring of a song someone is singing, and I didn't have any reason to tear up in the first place if I were just listening to a song, I take that into consideration obviously haha. I usually don't look at the person singing. Sometimes that ruins the emotion. I just listen to their interpretation of the song. That is all I need to get my high on a song. And of course if you're having a bad day or just life is pushing you down, a song like this can open the dams of course. Despite, this was a spectacular cover of this song. Peace out to all ^~^
