My husband and I are huge Coldplay fans. Listened to it when we were falling in love, Yellow came on in Jamaica after he proposed, just random times at the perfect time. It’s somehow always been a sign that we’re in the right place at the right time. Then my daughter (9yrs old) sends me this link today. She’s a huge BTS fan. It’s come full circle and tears literally stream down my face. This is absolutely amazing.
I try not to be one of "those people," but this came up in my feed today when I needed it. Liam Payne's death has hit me harder than I thought it would. One Direction was the first boy band I was ever in to. I love all of them, but Liam's voice was what first drew me in. Thank you, BTS for performing this so beautifully and for making sure to fill your voices with the love and comfort you knew your ARMY would need. I Purple you always. I, too, clicked on this video with Liam Payne in mind because I felt like the nostalgia of another band singing all together would heal me, and this song reminds me of him. I came here after seeing coldplay's Instagram Story, and I am crying. I never listened to BTS before, although I know they have a huge fandom. It is stunning. This song was my only comfort while I was in severe depression, it is really special to me, and this seven man just sang it with their heart and soul. And now I know why they are loved. I want to hear them more. I think I need more BTS in my life. In addition: they are so handsome, dear lord. EDIT: I'm trying to answer everyone, but it will take me a while. I've been a huge Coldplay fan for 15 years. I was a bit cautious when I read there would be a cover from BTS because usually there's a level of disrespect from any musician's fandom whenever they make a cover, but I've been pleasantly surprised with the amount of kind comments towards Coldplay from BTS fans all over the internet. The band itself did the song justice, even if it's not an easy song to cover. Overall I'm leaving with a very good impression.

That's because a lot of BTS fans, myself included, are also Coldplay's fans. I've been with them since Parachutes and I can say that one of the best days of my life was being in that stadium in Mexico City making my dream of seeing them live come true, while they were filming the A head full of dreams music video... Now watching this cover was so special to me, since Fix you has been a huge part of my life, as Coldplay and BTS too... Im just so happy 💜

I’m not an ARMY but I care about the hate they’re getting because the comments made by the German DJ is not only racist, it is also fueling the rising cases of anti-asian violence. This song is so close to my heart, it came out the same day I lost my grandmother and although it's been a decade, it still hits just the same, I cherish this song and is generally dismissive of any and every cover of this. But wow this. It touched me so much. All the boys are such amazing singers!! I thought some of them only rapped lol. Guy was triggered that a Korean boyband did MTV Unplugged and was even more triggered when they covered Fix You. He is definitely racist and felt that he can be overt with it due to the dangerous anti Asian sentiment going around. He definitely did NOT watch this performance or was curious enough to know their body of work as any genuine music journalist should. In the age of Google and TH-cam, he is the stupid one for not educating himself. Such a shame that something as beautiful as this cover was temporarily tainted by some low life's tantrums. But I know that there is a higher purpose to everything -- BTS becoming big at this point in time, breaking all stereotypes around race, masculinity, Anglo-centrism and all that. My husband and I are huge Coldplay fans. Listened to it when we were falling in love, Yellow came on in Jamaica after he proposed, just random times at the perfect time. It’s somehow always been a sign that we’re in the right place at the right time. Then my daughter (9yrs old) sends me this link today. She’s a huge BTS fan. It’s come full circle and tears literally stream down my face. This is absolutely amazing.

I came here after seeing coldplay's Instagram Story, and I am crying. I never listened to BTS before, although I know they have a huge fandom. It is stunning. This song was my only comfort while I was in severe depression, it is really special to me, and this seven man just sang it with their heart and soul. And now I know why they are loved. I want to hear them more. I think I need more BTS in my life.

I've been a huge Coldplay fan for 15 years. I was a bit cautious when I read there would be a cover from BTS because usually there's a level of disrespect from any musician's fandom whenever they make a cover, but I've been pleasantly surprised with the amount of kind comments towards Coldplay from BTS fans all over the internet. The band itself did the song justice, even if it's not an easy song to cover. Overall I'm leaving with a very good impression.

That's because a lot of BTS fans, myself included, are also Coldplay's fans. I've been with them since Parachutes and I can say that one of the best days of my life was being in that stadium in Mexico City making my dream of seeing them live come true, while they were filming the A head full of dreams music video... Now watching this cover was so special to me, since Fix you has been a huge part of my life, as Coldplay and BTS too... Im just so happy 💜

I saw bts got subjected to racism and disgusting words because of one cover, and came here to check if it even warranted one comment about unstable vocals or such. And wow. This song is so close to my heart, it came out the same day I lost my grandmother and although it's been a decade, it still hits just the same, I cherish this song and is generally dismissive of any and every cover of this. But wow this. It touched me so much. All the boys are such amazing singers!! I thought some of them only rapped lol. Their vocals, the harmony, it made me feel the same way seeing coldplay perform this live did. They put their heart and soul in this and if they can do this for a cover, I wonder how their own songs sound like. The guy who ends the song gave me goosebumps, his voice is so, so rich. And the one who sits at the far right, wow. The tenor of his voice is unmatched. I especially love the one with the pink mic. His voice is so...soulful, emotional, I felt chills, it pushed me to tears. Someone please, introduce him to me!! This cover was so perfect, and since the racist idiot couldn't find one flaw in the performance he decided to throw dirt at them the only way whites know how to bring down poc. This is phenomenal, now someone please introduce the pink mic guy to me^^

Guy was triggered that a Korean boyband did MTV Unplugged and was even more triggered when they covered Fix You. He is definitely racist and felt that he can be overt with it due to the dangerous anti Asian sentiment going around. He definitely did NOT watch this performance or was curious enough to know their body of work as any genuine music journalist should. In the age of Google and TH-cam, he is the stupid one for not educating himself.
Such a shame that something as beautiful as this cover was temporarily tainted by some low life's tantrums. But I know that there is a higher purpose to everything -- BTS becoming big at this point in time, breaking all stereotypes around race, masculinity, Anglo-centrism and all that. It is shining light on how there will be forces who will try to bring them down so we can go back to the way it has been -- the marginalized remaining marginalized. But we will not allow this, it's a new world, so let's just be better people and leave the unconscious bias out the door.
While I'm not (yet) an Army, I will always root for this band for the purity and good that they represent.
