remove the shock limiters, run the collar at the highest without letting the spring leave the bottom rest, remove the front and rear bumpers and flip the mounts up, put 30wt in the shocks, get a better radio (i have a t4pm but i went with the TQi with link module), remove the crap from the cage, and put the hobbywing 1080 esc in it. its a very capable vehicle BUT it acts like a whole different model. follows my sport comp rig very well.
Put a fusion in there , with a bit of brass down low, it’s really fun after that

You can get a ford or chevy high trail edition that includes the 2 speed transmission and the locking differential
Some don’t want it, including me. I do absolutely everything a regular trx4 does with my sport

Can this be upgraded to the two speed transmission? I’m new in this rc world. I got the same truck!
They sell kits to upgrade the transmission to 2 speed and a kit for locking diffs, you just need to also buy the controller
And its only like 60 dollars to make it 2 speed

Why change the esc? Is the 1080 a motor/esc combo?
