Yes, please make more long term reviews. They not only help us in understanding what its like to live with a particular car, but also what we can expect and overall expenses on maintenance and fuel. Also, give a verdict whether we can prefer the same car when going to a second hand market. Thanks!
The steering - I own a Ciaz ZXI 1.4 and the only trouble i am facing is with the steering. Exactly how you showed. Does not auto center and its really really tiring when you go on long trips, forget taking these cars on hair pin roads. Tried addressing the issue with Maruti and their reply is That's how it is...how soothing...being fed up of this bit of the car i am selling it.
Thats very genuine and practical review. I problem I face since starting that during rains, there is water get inserted in the spare wheel well. They say we fixed it but it never got fixed.
Yes, we all are willing for more long term reviews such as ciaz, city, octavia, etc. And many more Sedans or SUV's i wish that autocar india will bring the reviews to all the viewers very soon.
Can you suggest a better car with the same features and price in India. I mean without the negatives you explained about Dezire. What about their new 2022 model.
Yes Autocar. I agree with all the Good and Bad bit. I have Baleno Alpha 1.2 . And truly speaking above 120 kmph the steering goes freaking light and no feedback and above 160 kmph front wheels shows no response. It feels a little windstorm will flew away the car. And about brakes, ABS is like a catalyst of a brake otherwise only wheel locks would take place whenever you foot on brake. Overall both the cars are perfect at their place on basis of their Price, Maintenance & looks. Keep uploading such types of Videos.
Really great review. I am from Bangalore, i own a ZXI+ AMT version and i am in love with the car. I completely agree with the fit quality especially that plastic panel near the foot. Otherwise i feel this is a very sensible car. i have had it now for around 20 months and have done around 23k kms. didnt know about the steering... never thought of it as an issue will surely keep an eye out for it. :) keep the reviews coming.
Hello Autocar team, Nice review indeed good for prospective buyers. Keep up the good work. Appreciate if you can do a similar review on Ciaz Petrol MT too
I'm using the same from the past few months. It's an easy to drive car but bit annoying most of the times. Problems with stability and quality. Will the bs6 norms make this car outdated?
The Bad side of this car is that the USB port is a slow charging USB port which is connected to the infotainment system connection it to Android auto and Apple car Play, it doest charge infarcts it discharges the phone.
No on highway dzire given only 15kmpl .. I have dzire petrol drove 12k and also one more thing its comfortable at 100-120 and very good at braking part also
Not a single scratch on body in 18months......In Mumbai??....Is it really possible. I don't think so. I know your cars are maintained by car companies but Long term review should include verdict on build quality as well.
Hello Gavin Good review.... Would like too see more of this kind in the future... For cars which are affordable for middle class Indians Keep up the good work KIDDOS✌️
I get it now! What auto car reviewers drive! Thanks for being honest. And the end of the day u review so many cars and drive a Maruti Suzuki! That speaks a lot. May be this is what average Indian needs.
These new maruti suzuki cars are really very light and often called tin cans, we need to see on how they age with time, say about 5-7 years, good builds look good even after 10 years but if cars are not solidly put together then it starts reflecting after 4-5 years..
Good review Gavin need more of them, but quite disappointed with the safety pin(clips are available) you have applied on your crepe bandage going by the high standards set by Autocar India. People observe all this..🤗

😂😂😂 Keen observation. I lost the clip.
Dzire is more than a car. It's a livelihood. Testimony to the faith, the numerous fleet operators and taxi owners have in the car.
Steering not auto centering is a bummer 🤔

Please do long term review of Hyundai Aura - underrated compact sedan right now...it needs advertisement rather than this top selling suzuki dzire.
Good that you’ll added long term fleet video.. I always expected it as an Autocar mag reader n subscriber..

By not buying such unsafe car

Steering me asli lakdi waise bhi kaun lagata hai bhai?
Grey plastic like in the Swift hatchback would have been better. No wood is better than fake wood :)
@@gavin_drives True. It is nonsensical to use faux wood for 'aesthetic appeal'.
