Edit and DISCLAIMER: All these issues are small, and easily remedied. But you shouldn't have these issues with a brand new handgun out of the box.

I agree. Hit up Customer Service and they'll help sort you out. We haven't produced these in about 2 years, so not sure the journey of this pistol in that time frame, but we see alot of "new old stock" models get much more "fondling" depending on where they came from.

They've had site failures on other brands recently, that front site issue is common...

I bought the Bantam .45ACP for $900, had it for 8 months, ran about 1500 rounds through so far, and little to no issues with it. My green optic also fell out because of the heat projected onto the plastic. Don’t know how Tisas over looked that.. The other thing is it may jam if dry, similar to most 1911’s, but I keep it clean and wet before taking it to the range. Overall it’s an excellent made gun, I just don’t think it’s worth the price.

I haven't had a chance to get to the range with the holidays and spring semester starting back this week, so haven't shot it more than a few rounds. That being said, I Have high hope for it. It's a nice handgun and I have yet to regret the purchase.

Wow. Thanks. I traded for a duty model. Its rear sight also came loose. Bought a dan wesson vbob. So happy. I own two rock islands. They have been bullet proof.

that is a sexy looking 1911. I have a TISAS WW2 replica 1911 and man it shoots so dang good. Yeah that pistols missed the QC checks or the gun shop had been playing around with it.

I bought a 45 bobtail commander from them. It won’t feed right. Contacted them and they sent me an ups label. They determined the slide was out of spec and are sending me a new gun. Even sent me a video of test firing the original. Then sent me a video of them running the replacement pistol through a few mags. Sure it shouldn’t have happened but they were on the ball in taking care of the issue. So much so I’ve already purchased another from them. I’d contact them.

These kinds of issues happen all the time and aren't even worth mentioning. Anyone who has owned and shot a lot of handguns has dealt with these issues which can easily happen on any make and model. Some o-rings on the grip screws. Loctite on the rear sight. Fiber optic rods fall out occasionally that's why places like Dawson precision give you extra rods every time you buy a sight. Quit crying and spend 10 minutes fixing it all and then you'll have a really nice pistol at a great price. What more do you want?

I'll keep it real. My old Kimber was a jam sandwich. My base model Tisas Duty 9 never jams. I actually shoot my guns instead of firing them 5 times.

Grip screw is not a big deal. The rear sight is, but not so much if you just need to tighten the screw on top. That front sight though? Yikes. Yes, an easy fix and that’s common with fiber optic front sights but it should last longer than that!
Good job on the importer paying attention and commenting though. That does show excellent customer support

Screws come loose. It shouldn't be like that out of the box, but come on. Afraid to turn a screw? That's just the chance you take on fiber optic sights. They may last years, they may immediately fail. That's why I don't use them. If these are issues worth mentioning, you're better off with a Glock. One helpful hint: install some #60 O rings to keep the grip screws tight. They won't stay tight by themselves on hard synthetic grips, like G10.

Did you call up customer service support tech and when you first got your gun strip down this gun take all shipping oil off and use quality oil and grease. My tisas i went over everything all was good i changed out the grips .
Im using wilson combat magazines not the tisas magazines i see you are using kimber mags. Id put them in a drawer. My first kimber 1911 i had issues with them so i bought Wilson's combats mags. This gun will come to life in break in just tighting up your gun
Remember its a turkish gun but it has great tolerance in metals meshing together

Better than Kimber, sorry.. forged parts/ Series 70…. Grips coming loose is common; Ive a Bantam and the grip bushing isnt mounted all the way in… So they arent perfect but it runs great! Good luck on your repairs

No argument whatsoever. SDS Imports reached out and was like that sucks. Let's get get that fiber optic replaced. You can not ask for better support than that.

I've already tighen down the screws. And its not major, but still annoying regardless. That being said, I still like this gun.
