Was this PLAT Genji ACTUALLY the problem? | Spectating Overwatch 2

Hey Emongg! I was the Kiriko/Moira in this game. Appreciate the insight and critiques, I think the reason why I pointed out the Genji/Hanzo was in the moment it seemed like they were consistently getting elims, more than their other dps/team, not dying at the same time, and def getting good blades
Looking back at the replay it was definitely more of a team-issue, they coordinated better overall, not only better ults but just getting picks and targeting the right people, my dps went out of position more than theirs especially in the last attack round and I had some not ideal suzus
One thing that I picked up is I need to be more patient with my suzus when Genji is ulting and try to see who he is going after and save them rather than just use it immediately and hope for the best - you made a good comparison between his ult and Reaper ult in that Genji doesn't always get a kill instantaneously and if you can time the window to break his blade + dash kill chain with suzu you give your team enough time to capitalize and kill him

Btw around 1:58 you suzu yourself because you get chipped down to 6 hp and Emongg says it's a bad suzu but honestly, I think this suzu was necessary, and that maybe Emongg didn't realize you dropped THAT low here. Grats on Diamond, btw, that's big!
My main piece of advice is to check out Awkward's "Kiriko four step plan" if you haven't already, and try to incorporate engaging from off-angles at least occasionally. Even if you don't get kills, pressuring the enemy and making them have to use resources can help out a lot.

@@karamei The thing at that moment is, there were no enemies in sight to shoot. meaning getting behind cover would've been a better option instead of using suzu, yet I fully understand you would use suzu in that situation, I probably would aswell, because you are kind of panicking due to the low hp and not paying attention to everything around you.

Feel like their zen was putting more pressure with the discord orb than the genji just cuz they refused to to leave los. That was a whole team diff not just the genji popping off. He had his moments but that's about it.

You take so much random damage on point or even near point that I feel like the only people who even get healed by the passive is flankers or solder waiting for his heal.
