I had a lovely dinner at Crown Grill about six months ago. I think the restart was tougher on the specialty restaurants than it was on the other venues. They must have hired new staff for the restart. I love Alfredos. They made a great white pizza! The buffet was good, but they were heavy on Indian food. I like Indian food, but not daily!

We had a MUCH better crown grill experience on Enchanted earlier this year and we suspect you are correct on the restart and we are so pleased we gave it another go. This was right after the lockdown ended Ginnie, it was one of the very first sailings for Princess (not just in the UK), and it wasn't great. Our more recent experiences on Sun & Ruby have been really enjoyable though, so looks like it was more a case of restart issues than anything more.

Hi Linzi and Mark, As always I enjoy your videos, one thing that I may suggest is to show the venues by category, perhaps casual dining to the specialty dining rooms, I realize it was your first video of this type but I found I was confused because it jumped around a bit, better than I could do but just a suggestion. We have a couple of cruises coming up over the next six weeks and are just sorting out what we want to do so we will defo plan for this and make it all feel a bit more joined up. You are right it was the very first cruise we shot for the channel and we have to think about what we film in advance but we also need to think more about how we edit it together and your suggestions comes into both sides. The first is "Vacations by Tiffany", she is a travel agent, this is a new channel. The other is Harr Travel, he is also a travel agent and gives you more of and overview of the ship. I do think you two are more entertaining and I don't want you to think I'm trying to butt in but the more you have to look at may be a benefit and these are from the states (I believe). Regards

Your comments on Crown Grill were exactly my thoughts (Majestic in Oct 2021). We had to send our steaks back and then everything else was cold. We were not impressed.

To be fair, as we said In our review, they did everything possible to correct it and we cannot fault them for trying to correct the problem. Some People do pay a lot for the upgrade many just for club class for the dining. For us on this particular 4 night cruise, it was not a primary reason for the upgrade. And we were glad it wasn't. It's not that it was bad. It wasn't. The food was good in there. But it was an extension of the main dining room with just a couple of exclusive dishes in total. Much was the same as the MDR. We are sure on a future longer Princess Cruise (next year) we will use it more and hopefully the table side prep will return too.
I just come from two weeks on the regalia and let me say to anyone Sabatini it’s not worth paying for . The restaurant was almost empty don’t believe those review that tell u is great , trust me save your money . We tried to book the Crown grill and was fully booked all cruise stay . The food in the main restaurant is good hit and miss the dessert are great , finally all those review fast internet big lies rubbish internet I had to use 4 g so my friends very slow .
Hi Salvatore, what a shame. Having just come back off Enchanted Princess we can say the experience was vastly different to when we went on Regal Princess. Now to clarify, when we went on Regal it was running at 50% capacity. Enchanted was a 100% (but felt even more). Sabatinis was great on Regal whereas Crown Grill (on that one) was really poor. However on Enchanted the Crown Grill was really enjoyable and worth the upgrade. Though generally speaking the food elsewhere was nowhere near as good as the year before. And this seems a very common report on reviews across Princess in recent months. The Internet was completely unusable on ours too. And we ended up using 4/5G whenever we got close enough to shore. Some suggestions: Don’t talk over each other. Cover your breasts, it is distracting . Mentioning a different cruise line while reviewing the one you are on is in poor taste. If you are going to video a restaurant menu, get close enough so the viewer can read it.

Our reviews are meant to be very conversational and we may occasionally talk over each other, as we do this in a single take but we will try harder. We are not trying to mimic other vloggers, and we get the point on mentioning different cruise lines, but if we feel it is relevant to it, we will mention it. We paid for both of our recent cruises in full ourselves, and feel that as a viewer, which we also are, we would want to know how something compares. But we do take your point. Camera work will get better, like anything with more practice, and if you look at some of the more recent videos (Princess was the first we filmed), they do get better. Hope you keep watching.
Why not compare it to other lines to give some context to the comments. I am here in Routan on the Regal Princess and people are making comparisons all of the time.

The buffet looks so peaceful, just came back from a MSC Virtuosa cruise and it was definitely a 'bunfight'!
It really was very peaceful in there Andrew compared to other buffet cruise line buffet areas we’ve been on. Linzi & mark

Watching people wearing masks is very uncomfortable…..let’s not allow ourselves to be made to do that again …it was a con
