3:28 = Garrett GTR2557R, so that's the turbo in Rally1 GR Yaris! IMO that engine has good potential in a swap... imagine that engine inside a Smart Roadster! 3:56 = That's a good idea! Trying new material in Vulcan-Alpha wing! 5:51 = The defeated looks on Lapo's face tell how often Misha were using bad jokes off cameras. 😂 That said, Link G5 Voodoo Pro & Haltech Nexus R5 are two very capable ECU! 6:34 = I believe that black Ultima GTR still has pre-LS small-block Chevy V8, because the middle two cylinder has close exhaust port while LS (gen3 & gen4 SBC) had equal spaced exhaust port.
Also downforce figures for the DRS wing for both modes would be interesting to see. How much a reduction in drag when DRS mode is activated compared to full drag mode would be very useful to know.
@@mgcharoudin Thanks! Looking to get a 991 GT3RS and put this and the DRS front splitter on. It would be interesting to see how close it would be to the 992 GT3RS. I would be really sweet if you could make the DRS wing look close to the factory wing, if that's possible without negatively affecting the performance too much.

Very cool! Curious how much it helps. Say, a car with heavy aero manages 250 kh from a light 400 hp engine. What can it do, give or take with DRS open?
A question that may be more in Lapo's field of expertise - why pneumatic actuation, instead of having the DRS element sort of "balanced" and using some form of cable activation like on the first DRS wing on the back of the speedster? Seems lile that would be require significantly less equipment fitted to a track focused car that already tries to minimize weight at every turn. Dyneema came out with a rope that doesn't stretch at all under load and can be bent around much tighter radii without fatiguing compared to steel - which would allow housing the entire mechanical system for DRS activation in the wing supports, only needing a set of electrical wires to go to the wing instead of pneumatic lines, a compressor, a high pressure air tank, regulator etc etc.
Can you also make it intelligent...so it can enable DRS when it sees full throttle input (and steering is straight)... and disable drs as high braking is sensed...so that more down force can slow the car down and reduce brake pads/disc wear in a lap. Also where will be DRS button installed??? Like in 992 GT3 RS it's on steering wheel. In this case where it might be installed???? Anyway within one 1 year of your company you have launched such an impressive product 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 very very impressive 💯💯💯
That's cool, but I wonder if you could make it lighter without a motor if the DRS deploys with hydraulic under aero pressure over 100 mph for example. Just a thought.
Great content as always😊.I think kinsler did shaftless itb's more then 10 years ago.When did jenvey made them?It's obvious that they are going to build another car with all the hints.😂 From what i've seen over the years a good designed intake manifold makes better torque and power over a broad powerband then ITB's on k20/k24 engines.😉

This should of come out years ago to the puplic. It needs a dial knob to be able to change the angle of the static postion of the wing.

@@UltimateDan1 I think the 992 RS winst a lot from the suspension geometry (double wishbone front) etc. But in terms of aero, a lot can be done
