Yes I just told my husband this yesterday. Since the turn of the new millennium gangs are no longer prevalent especially in the west valley where I’m from. I grew up in Maryvale in that late 90s/early 00s and it was active back then. Driveby’s, parties getting shot up, uncles big bro and cousins we’re affiliated with the gangs, my house got raided cause of those family members, etc.
