You ever fish the spillway downtown on the Trinity? Decent spot for catfish, small gar, bass, carp. Decent crappie under the bridges in that area too. Little bit of a walk to get to but it's good fun.
@@thesouthwes gotcha. Maybe I'll bump into you one of these days. There are definitely some good bass in the Trinity downtown though, they seem to hide out in the shade up underneath the bridges. Pulled out a 4.2 and 5.4 on crappie jigs in the last couple weeks.
Bruh, please tell me you re-tied after taking that Bellows (sp?) plastic off the hook?!?! 😂Curious, why did you choose to rig the hairy bit away from the knot? Did you try it both ways? 11:10 "...this didn't pan out." Nope, it 'pan-fished' out!

I’ve fished one of the spillways before, but it’s been a while. I love that type of stuff!

I didn’t re-tie. I guess my line was okay though. I only rigged it where the hair was on the back side. Just felt like the way to do it! 😂
i get a ton of bluegill hits on these.
I did too. They liked to grab the little plastic feelers
