Much better coverage. Few points to add on:
1. Category based draws will be one other stream. It will not put stop to the FSW general draws.
2. Immigration cap is 400,000 per annum. This doesn't include work visa or students. This is government target number to make the people Permanent Residents.
3. Many many tech workers stop taking full time employment and switch to free lancing because income tax rate comes down to 15% from 45%. Entrepreneurship is encouraged.
4. Salaries are not lower for niche work. There are students filling up the small time jobs in big numbers, so there is more crowd at the bottom.
