Spending great family time together separately, kind of what we do as well! Incredible area to explore and we have put it on our list of places to visit when we can get back down there. Bears are so incredibly cagey and smart! Glad there was no serious damage to the gear! Looking forward to heRing what is coming down the pipe!Cheers
She's too camera shy..but I would love that as well, despite the fact that I probably wouldn't be able to handle it too well! I'm clearly a control freak. LOL
My wife and I were there two days after you guys, great time. We also did the Mammoth to June lake trail, that one steep spot was crazy. We did the buttermilk near bishop as well during a thunderstorm, that was a bit sketchy.
Very nice! My son and I were in Death Valley last November and took a day up 395 as far as Bishop for some lunch and a few loaves of Sheepherders bread. Hoping to make it into Mammoth the coming spring. It has been awhile since being there and thanks for the video and be safe.
Top of Devil's Postpile - the cool part is how a glacier shaved off the posts to make the "flat" top. You can see the striations (scratches) of the Glacier on the top of the posts.
Let me tell you what I love about this. Trashy people of the world pay attention. There is much to learn here. I started on this channel researching a product but found a paradigm in this video for living life. Do you see how Dan and Tish let their daughters be all the feminine they want, but still teach them the basics of not being helpless "behind the wheel?" Do you see how dad is fine to let the women, let alone his daughter drive? Do you see how dad has no problem doing the cooking? Do you see you this family stays together and it keeps their kids on the right path? Do you see you these parents haven't pigeon holed their girls into any particular gender roles and just let them be themselves. Do you see how so many moments are express or implied teaching moments as it regards raising responsible and "present" children? Bravo!
Awesome. Loved this video! You made me have fever to go out and have fun with my family. I'm new on your channel. is this cheese from Switzerland? I can read Lucerne, that's a beautiful town close to me in Switzerland. Hello from an explorer heat of the Swiss mountains!
@@395jnky Thanks!! Well, Lucerne is definitively a Swiss town, but I guess, this was just a brand on the cheese. I'm glad it tasted good 😁. It would be a pleasure, if you visited my channel as well, you'll see some original Swiss 💪🤠👍
Because there was so little damage to the trash bag I’m thinking it was a raccoon that got to your trash not a bear. Did you see the bear? Great videos by the way. I enjoy watching them. 😀
Been up there a bunch of times...Haven't been this year though. Its gotten awfully crowded and we enjoy exploring new areas! But we love it up there. Fun trail and amazing views for sure!!!!
You are lucky the bear only broke into your garbage bag. Years ago in the Ranger station at Lone Pine they had pictures on their bulletin board of bear break ins to vehicles. Some of the vehicles looked like they had been in a very bad wreck. It really looked impossible that a bear could do that to a vehicle. But they claimed they were real.
Hi Do you need some great lighting upgrade for your Jeep to help you better driving, off-road and adventure. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
@@395jnky the videos are great so don't give that up!! have you got another mount for the go pro so that mama goose doesn't have to stick her arm out the window (it looks like it's out the window) ?
Thanks again for sharing your trips and adventures you have a great family and the trips are simple and like the way you don't abuse the environment .

Us too! IF we were to ever relocate out of Cali - we will miss these two areas the most!
Tks for sharing your family.. always pick up some tips from your trips.. thanks again
You bet. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the videos, I've loved Hwy 395 for 30 years 😀
Yes, although I haven't been to Mammoth since 1981, I caught my first fish at June Lake around 1965. Guess am dating myself! Ha!
It was yogi and boo boo 🐻🐻
Another great family video. Need to let mama goose narrate an entire video and see how mr JNKY handles it😄

Schat's Bakery is the best! You definitely should revisit the area around Mammoth. It never gets old!

Looks like a great trip! I am sure Barry will give you a pass on the seasoning this time :)
He was none too pleased...LOL
We just returned from Mammoth, we love the area! Family trips are the best!

Great video! Keep them coming!
Will do! A little slow right now with the content, but there is much in store! Stay tuned!
The Mammoth bears are very very smart LOL
100%. Clearly smarter than I was!

What was the table that you were using at 5:25?
Mountain Summit Gear, SHD Roll Top Table L - Bought it from REI a few years back! We love it!
Are you coming to Arizona for the Expo???
Sorry for the late response...LOL
We weren't able to make it this year! Maybe next year!
I’m going to mammoth for the first time in August
Good luck with the crowds
@manny S - Enjoy - There are lots of things to do and places to go that will provide for years of great memories!
Knowing how much you guys love Jeep’s I’m gonna guess Jeep gladiator
Am thinking a travel trailer to use as a base camp.
You never know…😉
I already have a truck. Really no need for another....
We've thought long and hard about off-road trailers, but just can't imagine spending that kind of money on one...
Because there was so little damage to the trash bag I’m thinking it was a raccoon that got to your trash not a bear. Did you see the bear?
Great videos by the way. I enjoy watching them. 😀
Almost for sure it was racoons. Bears wouldve taken the whole bag
Story sounds better with a bear. Next time it's told I suggest upgrading to sasquatch... :)
Hope your going full time
As much as we would enjoy traveling full time, that's not in the cards.
Have you traveled up to Coyote Flats area yet?
Been up there a bunch of times...Haven't been this year though. Its gotten awfully crowded and we enjoy exploring new areas! But we love it up there. Fun trail and amazing views for sure!!!!
Nice trout
Thanks Thomas!
I see a Gladiator in your future. 🛻
Great Video 👍, I'm thinking maybe it was a racoon and not a bear. A bear would have torn that up.
Pretty sure it was a bear. We saw a paw imprint on the bag, as well as the fact that we have never seen a raccoon in this area.
You are lucky the bear only broke into your garbage bag. Years ago in the Ranger station at Lone Pine they had pictures on their bulletin board of bear break ins to vehicles. I agree. I was very lucky he didn't do any damage. We once had a bear in the bed of my truck in this same area digging thru my tackle box. LOL
Does Golden Trout have trails to drive??
Check out Monache Meadows!
@@395jnky thanks
What was the lake you offroaded to called
Not quite sure what the name of it is, but the trailhead is located off of Virginia Lakes Road! Gorgeous wheeling in these parts!
Could of been a Racoon that climbed into the bag?
You guys ok 👍
We’re all good! Slammed with life business and work! Looking forward to shooting a video this Sunday. Stay tuned for our new release!
Daisy Duke camping adventure
Now you got me thinking Mama Goose is trading her JL for a Bronco.
boom.
Gladiator!!!
Hmmmm….maybe 😉
@Mamagoose would never part with her JL!
