I think going Green/Red delirium was definitely the lane here. Passing on a couple of Centipedes, so many Manifest Dreads and Break Down the Doors, could even splash the Bookworm.
Not to mention the early wickerfolk
Interesting how much preference goes into drafting this format. I would have taken the wickerfolk 2 drop and locked into gruul after the next couple picks.

Insane having bugs in the arena open
Theyre pretty generous when you submit a bug report ticket during events like this, I've never not gotten my cost of entry gems back after a bug like this happens. Should be easier too for mr nums with this clear evidence as well
I've drafted a ton of red/white this format and vengeful possession has always been a gg when I get it, most opponents spend the first few turns getting battered by quick 1-2-3 drops from you, and to steal their biggest creature for a turn and swing everything at them seldom doesn't end it
I've had a lot of good results with these type of cards in aggressively slanted piles as well. It's also one of the cards I'm hoping my opponent doesn't play in a lot of scenarios which says a lot.
Honestly amazing you went 2-2 with that, pretty impressive. In the final game at 1:29:42, using glassworks on the attack-in-the-box instead of developing our own was a bit odd to me, especially when we can see they have the Razorkin in hand for next turn that we wouldn't be able to answer without bear trap eating the entire turn. Not sure if it would have changed anything, but just curious.
Nummy finally found the solution to prevent Arena from giving him all spells of one color and all lands of the other.
Even split 16/0 and we only draw mountains? Rigged pigs.

P1P3 for me was still Centipede. Maybe I am too biased for it but getting another right after would have made me at least feel like I was right.

I think I would have cut either Attack in the Box or the 5/3 and played Violent Urge mainboard. The synergy with Hand that Feeds is amazing, allowing you to hit the opponent for 10 out of nowhere.
I feel like in game 3 round 1 you could have played the FOMO instead of Hand that feeds to block the razorkin needle head. See if they attack. Probably wouldn't have. And then we're the beat down
I had a game a few days ago where I kept a 3 land hand on the draw... never drew a 4th land. Lost with 3 lands in play and 23 cards left in my library. Was playing 17 lands.

The deck we end up in feels underpowered. I would probably run the cursed recording, and the black removal spell just to try to increase the potential power of the deck despite being a bit low on instants/sorceries. Copying turn inside out, or the removal spell can be game ending plays on their own. I think it's worth it.
I've done undefeated mono red a couple times, but it was focused on the pump spells and the red leyline in the other run. Much like standard, the format can't deal with a 2 drop being pumped to 8-12 damage on turn 3, let alone any creature on turn 6+.
Also a lot of "LSV said ripchain is bad and shouldn't be played!" stuff so big hitters are always around...

2-2 with this deck is quite honestly impressive, cause I dont think this deck even qualifies as mediocre. tough seat, though I think ending up in monored was probably a mistake.
i think i would have moved into black p3p2, already had some black fodder for the final vengeance. would have game you a few more options for the last pack, though would not have made a big difference, but your probably could have cut the attack in the box. that card is usually real bad, though it did win you that one game, but most games it was just a 2/4
what to do when keep getting "waiting for server" in matche? i cant play mtga anymore because of this
Genuinely curious to know why it's better to splash the Withering Torment over splashing white for Exorcise and Reluctant Role Model? Is it because you have Razortrap Gorge?
its just an easier splash, he had the black red dual on top of the evolving wilds variant
Reluctant isnt a good splash since its generally just a bear if it doesn't come down on turn 2

I was unable to sideboard in 2 of my arena open matches as well
1:05:46 if you would have kept this arena wouldn’t have let you draw a single land. Instead you didn’t keep and arena gave you nothing but lands. Personally I think it’s a conspiracy.
1:19:35 killing the jack in the box did give them delirium. They had sorcery land instant
Although I'm a newbie still - probably won about 5 drafts in 100+ total - I enjoy playing Mono Black in the Lost Caverns of Ixalan draft. I don't know, it's more comfortable, and I think it took me multiple times to the top, with 6 victories - followed by Red Blue White.
I'm not gonna say I would do better. But having UI bugs like this in a deckbuilding screen appears to be very incompetent. Other games have bugs that are excusable. They have very large and complex worlds. Just imagine the work of testing the world of a battle royale game.
This is just so limited in scope. Card is in one place or another. It animates fancily. But how can you just drop the entire sideboard and have a bug where pressing one of the filter buttons adds cards to the deck? It's absurd. And why isn't there a correction system? You're in draft with 40 cards in your deck and nothing in the sideboard. That's wrong.
Please forgive me, but I feel the unbearable urge to tell you that "exorcise" is pronounced exactly the same as "exercise".

Dude, I swear to god arena matchmaking looks rigged, I think I’ve seen attack in a box played once in all the drafts I have done or watched, and in this draft you had one and two other opponents played one also, could be nothing or just the nature of harder drafts in the open, but sure looks weird to me
It's the skill level of the drafters plus the 24 packs were deep with just barely playable cards and not a sick level of busted R and M.
Gotta remember this is all players who qualified for day two and I can assure you this sets draft format favors aggro and rooms/eerie highly over other decks.
Attack in the box is subpar but a serviceable finisher/blocker since it's a 3 mana 2/4.
Am I crazy for thinking Attack in the Box is kinda decent? I've closed out a lot of games by just casting Jump Scare on an AitB and hitting for 8 damage out of nowhere.
