On May 12 2007, clashes between rival political parties, MQM, PPP and ANP turned violent as nearly 50 people were killed. Photojournalist Zahid Hussein revisits the horrors of ‘Black Saturday’ in Karachi as he took out his camera to cover the riots.

Lost my whole childhood in these crimes. It was unfortunately common in those days listening about killings bombing or snatching see many dead bodies in junkyards my two friends father's were martyred. Karachiites developed fears which are unknown to other Pakistanis
