This Bodega 38-quart cooler is a reliable fridge and freezer. It's nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. The internal storage is decent, the controls are easy, and the inclusion of app compatibility is a nice touch. You have to wait a little while for the cooler to start getting cold, so just a heads up.

This cooler has no internal battery. Forget the expense and inconvenience of using a power supply and just plug it into your car cigarette lighter socket. It uses very little power, and your car alternator can easily handle it. We've been using ours for two years.

Great review. My Bluetti arrives tomorrow and I'm looking for a cooler and this one caught my attention. Now that you've had it for a while I was wondering if you've looked at the what consumption once it's all cooled down. Like if I pre-cooled it by plugging it into 120 volt a day prior and then went out on my boat with the bluetti what the consumption would be once the compresasor doesnt have to work so hard? I would like to be able to do a three-day trip on my boat and notice you never went below 47 Watts but your freezer was still working hard because you had it set to zero. If you were to put it in eco mode and everything reached its temperature I wonder what kind of what draw you would be averaging for hour then?

Should have powered the cooler by DC from the power station. Using AC goes through the inverter and draws more power.

You do realize that is not how a vehicle electrical system works, right? Cars have these amazing inventions called alternators. You should learn what one is. 🙄

so many different ways you could've conveyed this information and you chose the "how to be a total fucking dick in one sentence" way! Great job.

"Hey thanks for taking the time for this great review on a cooler! But a car alternator can support your devices while the vehicle is running with ease!" is one way. You chose "hey I'm an asshole!" way to communicate!
