    nice review bro.which bike would u suggest under the 150 cc range pulsar As150,fz s 2.0,or the suzuki gixxer?

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TheSylu100 I just tested the gixxer, haven't ridden the FZ-2. Thus far I like the Gixxer. But I have to ride the bikes back to back once, I think a comparative review is coming at the first week of December.

      +Prathamesh Shirke I like the gixxer SF more than the Pulsar but I like the Honda Hornet over the other 2. So, I guess you have to go test ride all of these, or wait for my comparative review which is coming next week covering these 2 bikes.

    hi rahul.. can u plss tell me whether I could change my AS150 tyres to more thick tyres?

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can upsize your tyres. Just go to any tyre dealer. Remember to get only MRF because grip depends on size as well as quality of tyre and softness of compound. So getting a less sticky thicker tyre would not help.

      +Atulya Aman Hey, I really understand that Gixxer 150 is one of the best bikes in that segment, I will try to get a bike to review. Please understand that I want to review every bike on sale in India. But manufacturers are not eager to give their bikes for review. Please subscribe and recommend me to your friends, because when the channel grows, they can't refuse us the chance to ride the bikes and review them.

    nice review !! can u give me a feedback about stability and balance of as 150 comparing with fzs 153?? i want to buy this bike and i have rode fzs 153 for five years. as 150 will come here at Dhaka on next month. so what will be your suggestion ? thanks in advance .

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Vikram Roy the pulsar tyres are of good quality but the thickness is much lower than the FZ, so straight line stability would be more on the FZ. On corners the Pulsar does well but the front tyre was too thin for me. But still it cornered pretty hard. The Pulsar feels a bit high with the handlebars, I would say the bike is well balanced, only they tried to give it thinner tyres to improve mileage.

    • @Fuel17

    hi
    rahul
    how r u
    i have some question for you.
    i am from mumbai.
    i had duke 390. My daily running is 80 km highway to highway.
    i buy my bike on 29 july 2015. with in 3 months my km is now 5000 km right now i am close to my 2nd service. i never res more than 5500 rpm.
    but still after 4500 km bike give me high temprature issue.
    bike was stopped on the high.
    it was very dispointed on my bike. service centre said that the my radiator fan was jammed. so they just change it.
    it was free of cost.
    but still my tempreture was almost close .
    it means after riding more than 60 min. my hitting indicator go almost 80% .
    is it ok?
    what do think?
    one my friend also had same issue on 4500 km.
    and again on 8950 km he is facing the same problem.
    pls help me out from this confusion?
    How many times you changed ur radiator fan ?
    what should i do?pls help me?

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Aditya Ekkaldevi I have never had to change my radiator fan. The 2014 Duke 390 does have a heating issue for Indian climate and it always run super hot in high traffic conditions. The thing is I have had that shutdown once, and it was 10 km/h riding for 40 mins or so. It usually doesn't shut down, but keeps running heated up. I wear big leg protectors so, am somewhat covered from the heat.

    Hi Rahul... Just need to know if going on a long ride like Mum-Goa or a short ride like Mum-Lonavala, how will AS 150 perform on upclimbing hill with a pillion rider along with few amount of luggage on it? Awaiting feedback. Thanks.

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Aditya Malvankar it should do fine. Nornally bikes have a payload rating of 199 kg and any weight under that it can manage. I remember even a scooty doing Lavasa steep hill climb with a pillion when I was there.. So I don't think its much of a problem.

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Sarthak Agarwal I would go with the Hornet for now for best brakes, comfort, balanced approach, great handling but the gixxer is a very fun bike as well.

      Ride With Rahul yeah I noticed that now...but only 40kmpl..!! thats too low for a 150cc engine..do you tested the bike in economy ride..?? I am asking because some reviews claim 48 - 52 kmpl

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Santhosh Kumar in one short review ride, it's not possible to test the mileage. However, it's the owner who gave me that figure, he mostly rides in City and once a week rides on the highway. That is the mileage he thinks he is getting. I haven't tested out myself.
      Do have to remember that this has more power for a 150cc bike, 17 BHP.

I am talking for proper review and not just a small test drive out of the showroom. If anyone you know near Kolkata, who wants to collab for a gixxer or any other bike I haven't covered, contact me and I will review that bike.

    THE EXHAUST IS NOT ONLY UGLY, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A GAS FLOW ENGINEER TO SEE IT IS CHOKING THE LIFE OUT OF THAT ENGINE. I am saying to put on a pipe that wakes the dead, but the stock item is terrible. Another big problem is parts availability. Parts are always on back order.

    OVERALL A GREAT VIDEO.

    I AM NOT A HATER, ITS ONE OF MY GENUINE QUESTIONS.

      +ABHIJEETH S The suit is perforated using laser cut holes which make a lot of ventilation and an inner layer of clothing sucks away the moisture and cools me at the same time. Basically feels same as a textile jacket and makes movement much more fluid on the bike.
      When riding a new bike, I want to concentrate on the bike and after you have gotten to used to the heavy weight of the leathers, they feel more comfortable than textile. If you ever buy leathers, get it from Dainese (I am not sponsored or anything) and make sure it's perforated. Racesuits will become more common in India, when people realize their advantages.

    • @knight47
      @knight47 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +ABHIJEETH S The protection provided by race suits are extremely high. Given the conditions of indian traffic and road conditions when you are testing a bike pushing it to its limit it is always better to keep yourself safe. i was the fellow rider with him and you wont believe the number of times animals and humans and cars came in between almost colliding.

    accident at an Indian road is never sooo serious enough to wear an all leather track oriented racing suit

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +ABHIJEETH S Actually thousands of people do die every year on Indian roads, so I am not sure about that not serious tag.

      Ok bro I agree
      People do diebut, but not pepple like u or me who follow the road rules and ride safe.
      Any ways bro u r right it's more safe to wear good protective gear.
      I completely agree with you.
      Hey by the way

      +ABHIJEETH S I saw your channel. There are almost no videos in it. Put some quality content on it and I will surely give you a shoutout. But you must put in some good quality videos about 10 or so.
      I don't want my subscribers to go to a blank channel and bounce back.

    Isn't 0 to 60 supposed to be a standard for MPH? You should be measuring 0 to 100 for KPH.

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +sidspacewalker for small capacity motorcycles, Indian brands have for long been coming out with the 0-60 kmph figures. Even Yamaha R15 came out with the 0-60 in 4.1 seconds figure. It's because of the fact that often the 150cc bikes have a good 0-60 time but from 60 to 100 they take a lot more time. like the old FZ-16 only got to a top speed of 115 kmph or so. So getting that bike to 60 was fast but 100 came quite a bit late.

      Ride With Rahul Oh, thanks for the information. Will you do a review of the Honda CBR125R? The 2011 onwards model is really cool :)

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +sidspacewalker I can't cover the CBR 125R because it doesn't come to India. Actually I have never even heard of that bike...
      There is only CBR 150R and 250R in India.
