My suggestion for this could possibly be King Crimson or King Crimson Requiem, since (as to my knowledge, I haven’t touched this game in a year) King Crimson has been the same since they removed the Impale one shot combo and KCR is literally the same as it was when it first came out besides a few remodels for both stands

SF used to be my favorite stand in the game when I used to play YBA. I just loved the simplicity of this stand, while it is significant less efficient compared to the meta at the times, it still was very fun. I will never forget you SF boxing.
frankly im on about the same page as eclipse when regarding yba being funner when stands and specs werent over the top with a dozen moves each, which is why some of my favorite stands are star platinum tusk and gold experience since they remained largely untouched outside of balances thats honestly why i prefer TCA over yba now
Coming from a sf boxing main, it’s still viable and good but requires a lot of skill because it doesn’t do to much damage. I don’t know what eclipse is talking about. EVERYTIME I go into 1v1’s I get an actual decent player. Eclipse is just playing at a bad time.

When fist barrage cancel to stand barrage cheese wasnt fixed you can literally just force ur opponent to get caught by a fist barrage through extend arm, and zipper punch being uncancellable? Fucking broken ass move you would love to abuse the hell out of it. Extend Arm if I remember, can also connect an eye gouge, but its not really consistent but I would land it 6 times out of 10 chances.

Seeing how horrible newer players have gotten at pvp is absolutely baffling to me; I'd expected the YBA pvp to get more skill based due to the sweaty stand and spec combos.
I suggest TWAU as your next stand to cover. The fact that it's barely been touched apart from getting KC's chop and having its knives nerfed a couple times and still manages to be a good stand is worth talking about(the rage timestop changes were applied to all timestop stands with rage bars and not just TWAU so that's why I didn't mention it at first). The only real difference between old and current TWAU is that old TWAU wasn't just good, but was also argued to be the most broken stand in the game.
I feel the EXACT same way as the too many moves thing. I tried TW Vamp, because it's canon.. and oh my god i couldn't even keep track of THAT many keybinds. I could not imagine having like, 16 moves.
My Suggestion is Star Platinum The World, I honestly think that it is the stand that the developers tried to bandage-out the most by both visual and plays overall.

Sticky fingers is the kind of stand that has little moves and yet still was and is good due of its simplicity, I think I started to use it due of the fact that you could stack the zipper punch and make your opponent slower and slower, remember where 3 people tried to team on me and I used sf + boxing (before map change) and somehow Managed to win
i used it too, also the uppercut was nerfed for some reason, landing a uppercut + eye goughe (i think thats the name) + a 52.5 damage jawbreaker felt so good
I agree with pretty much everything in this video, but I also think that SF still has alot of potential as it is to be really good. I fell in love with this stand a little over a year ago and have mained it ever since, and although its flaws are extremely obvious, it's always had a place in my inventory as my all time favorite stand to use in every game mode. Heck, I've even gotten to rank #98 with it, although that could just be the players devolving and forgetting how how to counter bad stands. Anyway, love the new series, and the video quality is as good as ever!

As i said for months, YBA should separate specs into basic specs and full powered specs. Where basic specs get a max of 3 moves with a smaller skill tree so you can use it in tandem with stands and full powered specs basically replacing the stand altogether in exchange for more power & mobility

Eclipse, I stopped playing YBA after the stand/spec reworks came in and changed the games balance and overall playstyle. The game went from being able to know how to M1 trade and parry, to being able to know how to throw out spec and stand moves in quick succession in the hope of them hitting. Pretty much all of the new stand and spec reworks gave multiple stands auto-combos, and the spec reworks gave every spec extremely broken pseudo "ultimate" moves with zero counter play (unless you have a literal counter move lmao) like haymaker, Bruford, luck and pluck, etc. All of the recent times I've played the game I've purely stuck to non- "New Style YBA" reworked stands, as they are the only stands left in the game I truly still enjoy playing. King Crimson, The World, and KQBTD my favorites purely because of their simple, yet balanced move sets that remain very capable in the hands of experienced players. Overall I feel like Uzu has completely forgot or simply doesn't care about what made YBA unique (No M1 stun, Barrages basically being combo escapes/deniers, simple yet effective and fun to use move sets), and completely decided to rewrite the entire games combat with this new style of brainlessly throw out stand and spec moves every time they are off of cooldown like you are a pre-knife nerf TWAU player, or run away until your cooldowns come back so you can repeat your braindead autocombo that was made possible with newly reworked stands/specs. I know you said you were already saying too much when addressing Paragon's horrible balance suggestions, but to me, this only shows how doomed YBA is. The people in control of balancing the game don't even recognize what broke it's balance and overall playstyle, and instead are resulting to nerfing mechanics and systems that had been long in the game before the major balance issue was as bad as it was today. Instead of deciding to go after and fix the problems the new stand and spec reworks have caused, it's like Paragon has already acknowledged they are here and apart of Uzu's new vision of YBA and thus old mechanics that made the game fun and unique must be butchered in order to bandage up and provide some sort of sense of balance while also maintaining the incredibly broken and unfun to play against spec/stand reworks. I know this is just another "Meaningless TH-cam comment rant about roblox jojo lego game", but considering how much I use to care about and play this game (I started playing when GER was first added) I figured it would be somewhat worth the memories and friendships this game gave me to say this.

This game used to mean so much to me, I made so many friends I still have over this game The old map allowed for much better environmental battles than this current awful map with buildings too tall to interact with. That's what I'm most upset about losing. The new map is nice but it doesn't have that playability factor Uzu never played his own game. He's doing what he wants because he didn't care for how YBA was. He's always been distant, and it's hurting the game more than ever. I've said this for months and I'm glad others like Eclipse are saying it now, but I hope Uzu sells the game
The World Hamon. A prime example of how spec reworks elevated a classic build, one of your old favorites, to nauseous heights. Just don't buy TS or TS upgrades and invest points in Hamon.

I don’t know how in the holy world of hell have specs became stands. Paragon: “Oh we reworked every spec because pluck rework turned out positive.” Man we didn’t ask for more reworks (aside spin), and better, neither did we want them to be so oblivious that some stands are like 40% compared to these specs.

i've got a theory as to why the average yba player seems to be significantly worse than before i believe it's due to how powerful new stand and specs are here's some examples old players that had a significant amount of skill realized that said skill was completely worthless due to how overpowered and overcomplicated the new stuff was and left. some stuck around and messed with the new stands & specs, but they've mostly gone as well. the ones that haven't, have in turn lost a good portion that skill due to how much less skill is needed to work. new players, due to a lower skill requirement being needed, never actually learn how to properly strategize or counter stands. all they learn is "push buttons and push other buttons" as a result of skilled players leaving and less skilled players becoming more prominent, the average skill of a player has dropped unbelievably.
I think something they should do is add old specs back, ramp up the prices of new specs while also making them stronger and lower the costs of stands like sticky fingers or kc for example. This would make it so you could have a busted stand with a spec to support it, or have a busted spec with a stand to support it.
The Uppercut move is not that bad, since it is unparryable block-break with cooldown of 9 seconds that confirms into Zoom Punch and propably other combo extenders. Obviously it is hard to land
tbh at this point i think it would be better for YBA to revert back to before all the terrible updates like fortnite did instead of trying to fix the game

Eclipse, I’m seeing a BUNCH of other comments asking you to review either cream or KCR, and I think that’s a really good idea. KCR has gotten some less then meaningful buffs/nerfs and some unnecessary changes, but cream has gotten ABSOLUTELY nothing. I was thinking you could review these two stands, and if you were to review cream, maybe you could try possibly thinking of new moves from the anime or your ideas? I’d LOVE to see this.
The World Over Heaven. I think it's the most tragic one here. When the heaven update came out it was so popular and everyone was playing it. But now its playstyle is so horrifically outdated because m1s are just not a good weapon anymore and it has only 2 good moves because knives have also lost their value because after knives you would land solid m1s, but now that is impossible. From being so powerful, it's now barely average
I'm really sad they reworked pluck. my favorite build for a while was Sticky Fingers + Pluck those were the times. when I wasn't getting one shot comboed by a Meta Build

SPTW, it has 5 moves slam skull crusher beatdown timestop ora kicks, slam and skull crusher being basically useless against any competent opponent since they can just parry or block, probably also useless even against the "incompetent" opponents if your ping is bad, and beatdown being really hard to actually get any use out of since it needs a block break or stun first and it needs your opponent to be low health otherwise there's no point in using it. Basically the only reason to use this is for the instant ora kicks and the time stop so i would like you to cover this next
No. You see, the thing is that skull crusher, while it may be easy to block. There's no punishment if you miss it, you also can't parry it. If you hit it. you'll be able to use jaw breaker or Ora kicks. And don't forget to mention the m1 dmg. And as of now, the yba pvp is very aggressive ,and if you're good at the game, you'll know how to use the bd and land it easily. And for slam, and Ora kicks are a free get out of jail card.
@@thanaat1980So as I said skull crusher is basically useless against any competent player or probably even an incompetent one because it's so easy to block and as you said there is literally nothing to get out of it if it does get blocked, not even chasing after a runner because by the time it's blocked and you're out of endlag they can just start running again. Also when it is blocked your opponent gets a tiny frame advantage so they might use a really fast move to punish you if they have one like knuckle sandwich or their own kick barrage. SPTW's m1 damage is quite good but as Eclipse has said in most of his recent YBA videos YBA PVP has slowly become less dependent on doing damage with M1s and winning M1 trades and more just mashing every move from both of your absurdly large movesets. As for slam, I also mentioned that it will most likely just get parried by any player, even a competent one. It's useful if an opponent misses a kick barrage but that is the same usage as stand barrage finisher and it's only an extra 10 damage. Keep in mind slam is easier to parry than finisher because your stand literally turns into a huge flashlight before the move hits.
You should do this with the world. The world is hella fun, it has such a NOT auto combo reliant kit, combined with the fact that you have knives, the probably objective best projectile in the game.
1:43 - Its because Sticky Fingers isn't nearly as good as it was before. Vampire isn't too overpowered now, but its got far better qualities for aggressive play. Turns out that Uzu's stand design back in 2019 wasn't good at all (Purple Haze, White Album etc), and lead to most builds being heavily reliant on hyperarmor X. I don't need to explain why that nerf was necessary. Sticky Fingers is incredibly easy to counter. T has endlag, and you have priority if you block, Y has decent stun but a well timed dash renders it useless, as well as stand counters. X is very easy to avoid, and cancel. Finally, Z is just an alright mobility move. If you remove the one bullshit cheese aspect from a stand that is totally reliant on it, it becomes mediocre, to borderline bad. SF was basically built around the X key, just like how TWAU was built around T and had no cool-downs on release People like to shit on stand reworks, but old YBA was the same. If you didn't have TS resist or MIH you basically lost the game. Emphasis on Loss when you're up against SPTW/TWOH It was whoever landed the cheese first.
the issue is that that is the norm NOW, and that there was far less cheese back then but there was still cheese nontheless, it was mostly m1 trades and combos that required more skill than these current autocombos.

That means it took 15 seconds to lock someone in place, and add a 25% damage debuff. Pressing the same hyperarmor move that bypasses block, 3 times in a row is FAR easier than landing a combo. Where is the skill in that? To clarify, that is not me justifying current YBA’s combos as good, they just take slightly more effort than hitting the same key with all the best movie qualities in the game, while there’s a little more leniency when it comes to newer combos. It was far easier to cheese the game if you only had to click the same key 3 times. A list of the stands that had cheese in old YBA: CD - Rock trap one shot no sturdiness/sturdiness 1. HG - Has, and still can 70% you off of barrier, if timed correctly you won’t even be able to timeskip out WS - Has, and still has a 70% combo from gun with all specs, also had the ragdoll combo Magicians Red - Any short stun in the game will confirm red bind (barrage, knuckle sandwich etc) SP - Inhale when it did stun SF - For reasons mentioned before TWOH + SPTW - Ragdoll + TS RHCP - Ragdoll Combos KC - Impale combos KCR - Match resets with Reality Marble C-Moon - Ragdoll Combos with shift, uppercut desummoned stand. SCR - No explanation needed Old YBA was just as bad, and the combos were actually more unfair then they are now. Not to say they are fair, but the new one is the lesser of two evils. Old YBA did not include more skill. It played the exact same. That’s why 1v1s ranked was full of subspec boxing + SP/TWAU/TWOH. I personally was ranked #20 for a month back in January 2021, and my build was SP subspec boxing.

The Hand literally hasn't changed since when I first started playing the game like 2-3 years ago. 4 moves, two of them are so old they're literally unusable. Playing it feels like spec only with a pinch of old yba. Top of my list for stands that need a rework (and my favorite stand lol).
I think the reason why 1v1 are flooded with bad players is because the good playeds left when the SM update released, or something idk, i stopped playing when the SM update released
Sticky fingers is the most fun out of every stand. There is no stupid gimmick rage or high cooldowns. Only solid moves, standard attacks, pull and a time skip no dmg ability with a damage increasing barrage ender. Overall a nice stand. (Hyper armor on zipper punch and floor zipper punch would make it broken already)
To be honest, a lot of the older players who are still sticking around are gonna be terrible in a game of button mashing cause they were used to actually skill. Before the reworks, I could wipe whole sbrs with TW Hamon, and now I loose every single 1v1 match, even against trashcans, cause they are better at mashing buttons.
Eclipse has seen the light. THIS is the reason I still play YBA, to force auto comboing jackasses to play the game with stands that are "shit". The thing I love running with is Beach Boy Hamon, as if you love preventing people from running, then Beach boy is literally the best in the ENTIRE GAME at that, because EVEN if you get parried, they are still forced close up to you, which sounds like a bad thing until you realise that if you are playing in a group fight or a 2v2, you can FORCE people into scenarios that they would hate to be in. On top of that you can catch people off guard with an auto rod pull right at the start of the game, which you can then combo into something like a blood suck or a luck and pluck. The Ackley's heel to all of this though is that you don't have a barrage. So how do you get around this? Simple. Read them. It's like you said, the people that still play YBA absolutely suck, so when they have their auto combo BS + Barrage intercepted by a random knockdown from either a rod slap or your other two projectiles, they won't know what the fuck to do. It really is the "Best Worst" stand if you ask me.

it's mostly one-shot combos now, and all the trash cans are using S&W, SPTW and SM so it's nigh impossible to punish their brain-meltingly bad plays

Sticky fingers is the kind of stand that has little moves and yet still was and is good due of its simplicity, I think I started to use it due of the fact that you could stack the zipper punch and make your opponent slower and slower, remember where 3 people tried to team on me and I used sf + boxing (before map change) and somehow Managed to win

I agree with pretty much everything in this video, but I also think that SF still has alot of potential as it is to be really good. I fell in love with this stand a little over a year ago and have mained it ever since, and although its flaws are extremely obvious, it's always had a place in my inventory as my all time favorite stand to use in every game mode. Heck, I've even gotten to rank #98 with it, although that could just be the players devolving and forgetting how how to counter bad stands.
Anyway, love the new series, and the video quality is as good as ever!

As i said for months, YBA should separate specs into basic specs and full powered specs. Where basic specs get a max of 3 moves with a smaller skill tree so you can use it in tandem with stands and full powered specs basically replacing the stand altogether in exchange for more power & mobility

This might be one of the best suggestions that would revolutionise the current game
Eclipse, I stopped playing YBA after the stand/spec reworks came in and changed the games balance and overall playstyle.
The game went from being able to know how to M1 trade and parry, to being able to know how to throw out spec and stand moves in quick succession in the hope of them hitting. Pretty much all of the new stand and spec reworks gave multiple stands auto-combos, and the spec reworks gave every spec extremely broken pseudo "ultimate" moves with zero counter play (unless you have a literal counter move lmao) like haymaker, Bruford, luck and pluck, etc. All of the recent times I've played the game I've purely stuck to non- "New Style YBA" reworked stands, as they are the only stands left in the game I truly still enjoy playing. King Crimson, The World, and KQBTD my favorites purely because of their simple, yet balanced move sets that remain very capable in the hands of experienced players. Overall I feel like Uzu has completely forgot or simply doesn't care about what made YBA unique (No M1 stun, Barrages basically being combo escapes/deniers, simple yet effective and fun to use move sets), and completely decided to rewrite the entire games combat with this new style of brainlessly throw out stand and spec moves every time they are off of cooldown like you are a pre-knife nerf TWAU player, or run away until your cooldowns come back so you can repeat your braindead autocombo that was made possible with newly reworked stands/specs.
I know you said you were already saying too much when addressing Paragon's horrible balance suggestions, but to me, this only shows how doomed YBA is. The people in control of balancing the game don't even recognize what broke it's balance and overall playstyle, and instead are resulting to nerfing mechanics and systems that had been long in the game before the major balance issue was as bad as it was today. Instead of deciding to go after and fix the problems the new stand and spec reworks have caused, it's like Paragon has already acknowledged they are here and apart of Uzu's new vision of YBA and thus old mechanics that made the game fun and unique must be butchered in order to bandage up and provide some sort of sense of balance while also maintaining the incredibly broken and unfun to play against spec/stand reworks.
I know this is just another "Meaningless TH-cam comment rant about roblox jojo lego game", but considering how much I use to care about and play this game (I started playing when GER was first added) I figured it would be somewhat worth the memories and friendships this game gave me to say this.

The old map allowed for much better environmental battles than this current awful map with buildings too tall to interact with. That's what I'm most upset about losing. The new map is nice but it doesn't have that playability factor
Uzu never played his own game. He's doing what he wants because he didn't care for how YBA was. He's always been distant, and it's hurting the game more than ever. I've said this for months and I'm glad others like Eclipse are saying it now, but I hope Uzu sells the game

i've got a theory as to why the average yba player seems to be significantly worse than before
i believe it's due to how powerful new stand and specs are
here's some examples
old players that had a significant amount of skill realized that said skill was completely worthless due to how overpowered and overcomplicated the new stuff was and left.
some stuck around and messed with the new stands & specs, but they've mostly gone as well.
the ones that haven't, have in turn lost a good portion that skill due to how much less skill is needed to work.
new players, due to a lower skill requirement being needed, never actually learn how to properly strategize or counter stands.
all they learn is "push buttons and push other buttons"
as a result of skilled players leaving and less skilled players becoming more prominent, the average skill of a player has dropped unbelievably.
And dont forget that skin trading also plays a part in this
I think something they should do is add old specs back, ramp up the prices of new specs while also making them stronger and lower the costs of stands like sticky fingers or kc for example. This would make it so you could have a busted stand with a spec to support it, or have a busted spec with a stand to support it.

The Uppercut move is not that bad, since it is unparryable block-break with cooldown of 9 seconds that confirms into Zoom Punch and propably other combo extenders. Obviously it is hard to land

Eclipse, I’m seeing a BUNCH of other comments asking you to review either cream or KCR, and I think that’s a really good idea. KCR has gotten some less then meaningful buffs/nerfs and some unnecessary changes, but cream has gotten ABSOLUTELY nothing. I was thinking you could review these two stands, and if you were to review cream, maybe you could try possibly thinking of new moves from the anime or your ideas? I’d LOVE to see this.
The World Over Heaven. I think it's the most tragic one here. When the heaven update came out it was so popular and everyone was playing it. But now its playstyle is so horrifically outdated because m1s are just not a good weapon anymore and it has only 2 good moves because knives have also lost their value because after knives you would land solid m1s, but now that is impossible. From being so powerful, it's now barely average
My first memory of yba is clicking on ranked with sp after just starting lvl 10 and going against a sticky fingers who absolutely destroyed me

SPTW, it has 5 moves slam skull crusher beatdown timestop ora kicks, slam and skull crusher being basically useless against any competent opponent since they can just parry or block, probably also useless even against the "incompetent" opponents if your ping is bad, and beatdown being really hard to actually get any use out of since it needs a block break or stun first and it needs your opponent to be low health otherwise there's no point in using it. Basically the only reason to use this is for the instant ora kicks and the time stop so i would like you to cover this next
No. You see, the thing is that skull crusher, while it may be easy to block. There's no punishment if you miss it, you also can't parry it. If you hit it. you'll be able to use jaw breaker or Ora kicks. And don't forget to mention the m1 dmg. And as of now, the yba pvp is very aggressive ,and if you're good at the game, you'll know how to use the bd and land it easily. And for slam, and Ora kicks are a free get out of jail card.
@@thanaat1980So as I said skull crusher is basically useless against any competent player or probably even an incompetent one because it's so easy to block and as you said there is literally nothing to get out of it if it does get blocked, not even chasing after a runner because by the time it's blocked and you're out of endlag they can just start running again. Also when it is blocked your opponent gets a tiny frame advantage so they might use a really fast move to punish you if they have one like knuckle sandwich or their own kick barrage. SPTW's m1 damage is quite good but as Eclipse has said in most of his recent YBA videos YBA PVP has slowly become less dependent on doing damage with M1s and winning M1 trades and more just mashing every move from both of your absurdly large movesets. As for slam, I also mentioned that it will most likely just get parried by any player, even a competent one. It's useful if an opponent misses a kick barrage but that is the same usage as stand barrage finisher and it's only an extra 10 damage. Keep in mind slam is easier to parry than finisher because your stand literally turns into a huge flashlight before the move hits.
Also yeah being said, Zipper uppercut is a solid move now being a blockbreak move!

You should do this with the world. The world is hella fun, it has such a NOT auto combo reliant kit, combined with the fact that you have knives, the probably objective best projectile in the game.
Personally I would say cream fits this series’s perfectly it’s 2 dmg moves can still hold up for itself

1:43 - Its because Sticky Fingers isn't nearly as good as it was before. Vampire isn't too overpowered now, but its got far better qualities for aggressive play.
Turns out that Uzu's stand design back in 2019 wasn't good at all (Purple Haze, White Album etc), and lead to most builds being heavily reliant on hyperarmor X. I don't need to explain why that nerf was necessary. Sticky Fingers is incredibly easy to counter. T has endlag, and you have priority if you block, Y has decent stun but a well timed dash renders it useless, as well as stand counters. X is very easy to avoid, and cancel. Finally, Z is just an alright mobility move.
If you remove the one bullshit cheese aspect from a stand that is totally reliant on it, it becomes mediocre, to borderline bad. SF was basically built around the X key, just like how TWAU was built around T and had no cool-downs on release
People like to shit on stand reworks, but old YBA was the same. If you didn't have TS resist or MIH you basically lost the game. Emphasis on Loss when you're up against SPTW/TWOH It was whoever landed the cheese first.
the issue is that that is the norm NOW, and that there was far less cheese back then but there was still cheese nontheless, it was mostly m1 trades and combos that required more skill than these current autocombos.

It takes 3 Zipper Punches to entirely immobilise someone. That move has a 5 second cool-down iirc. That means it took 15 seconds to lock someone in place, and add a 25% damage debuff.
Pressing the same hyperarmor move that bypasses block, 3 times in a row is FAR easier than landing a combo. Where is the skill in that?
To clarify, that is not me justifying current YBA’s combos as good, they just take slightly more effort than hitting the same key with all the best movie qualities in the game, while there’s a little more leniency when it comes to newer combos. It was far easier to cheese the game if you only had to click the same key 3 times.
A list of the stands that had cheese in old YBA:
CD - Rock trap one shot no sturdiness/sturdiness 1.
HG - Has, and still can 70% you off of barrier, if timed correctly you won’t even be able to timeskip out
WS - Has, and still has a 70% combo from gun with all specs, also had the ragdoll combo
Magicians Red - Any short stun in the game will confirm red bind (barrage, knuckle sandwich etc)
SP - Inhale when it did stun
SF - For reasons mentioned before
TWOH + SPTW - Ragdoll + TS
RHCP - Ragdoll Combos
KC - Impale combos
KCR - Match resets with Reality Marble
C-Moon - Ragdoll Combos with shift, uppercut desummoned stand.
SCR - No explanation needed
Old YBA was just as bad, and the combos were actually more unfair then they are now. Not to say they are fair, but the new one is the lesser of two evils.
Old YBA did not include more skill. It played the exact same. That’s why 1v1s ranked was full of subspec boxing + SP/TWAU/TWOH. I personally was ranked #20 for a month back in January 2021, and my build was SP subspec boxing.

The Hand literally hasn't changed since when I first started playing the game like 2-3 years ago. 4 moves, two of them are so old they're literally unusable. Playing it feels like spec only with a pinch of old yba. Top of my list for stands that need a rework (and my favorite stand lol).
I think Heriophant Green would be a great stand for this series, I completely forgot about that stand.

Sticky fingers is the most fun out of every stand. There is no stupid gimmick rage or high cooldowns. Only solid moves, standard attacks, pull and a time skip no dmg ability with a damage increasing barrage ender. Overall a nice stand.
(Hyper armor on zipper punch and floor zipper punch would make it broken already)

To be honest, a lot of the older players who are still sticking around are gonna be terrible in a game of button mashing cause they were used to actually skill. Before the reworks, I could wipe whole sbrs with TW Hamon, and now I loose every single 1v1 match, even against trashcans, cause they are better at mashing buttons.
Eclipse has seen the light. THIS is the reason I still play YBA, to force auto comboing jackasses to play the game with stands that are "shit".
The thing I love running with is Beach Boy Hamon, as if you love preventing people from running, then Beach boy is literally the best in the ENTIRE GAME at that, because EVEN if you get parried, they are still forced close up to you, which sounds like a bad thing until you realise that if you are playing in a group fight or a 2v2, you can FORCE people into scenarios that they would hate to be in. On top of that you can catch people off guard with an auto rod pull right at the start of the game, which you can then combo into something like a blood suck or a luck and pluck. The Ackley's heel to all of this though is that you don't have a barrage. So how do you get around this? Simple. Read them. It's like you said, the people that still play YBA absolutely suck, so when they have their auto combo BS + Barrage intercepted by a random knockdown from either a rod slap or your other two projectiles, they won't know what the fuck to do. It really is the "Best Worst" stand if you ask me.
