But when I decided to record this to a casette (yes, a casette) I noticed how long it was. I managed to get it all and now I have it as an MP3 :)

Settlers 1 & 2 were the best in the series and the music in those games was fantastic. I had it on the Arari ST500 so I guess I am the rebel for not having an Amiga :)

Siedler 1 was past of my childhood, and I get back to this music every 1-2 years to dwell on the nostalgia (and because it's actually catchy music) - apparently the last time a month before this upload. I appreciate having some more variety in my binge-listening ;) Especially because it is more or less the correct tempo, something which is weirdly hard to find nowadays due to the peculiarities of 90's hardware. It's also nice background music when working. ☺
i remember back in the 90s. my friend had an amiga and settlers 1 and we played and played and when I went home and lay in bed this song was in my head and I liked it. I couldn't wait to go back and play again. Thanks for playing this Wonderfull piece on the piano.

Side note about something weird: the minute/second hand of the clock on the wall is not moving, yet every time the video brings the clock back in focus, it looks like the hand moved a great deal - all within a 13-minute video. Just an observation.

My piano is a Yamaha P 125, but the piano sound is generated by the virtual instrument Moddart Pianoteq (www.modartt.com), which runs as a plugin in Reaper (www.reaper.fm).
OMG you are so cool! very curious to know how you are recording it? whats the chain like? audio from the keyboard OUT to audio interface to DAW? Or do you record the midi pattern from the keyboard and play with the piano sound later on in your DAW? grazie!
