I had been working in NTUC Income for 13 yrs. Mr. Tan was CEO of the company, he managed the company well and even knew junior staff well, good, down to earth and honest like ordinary Singaporean while he was CEO at the time @@Tony-nr8dp

Somehow after watching the proceedings of the EP. I admire what Mr TKL said, he said that he was confident of qualifying to stand but he was prepared to step aside if Mr GG is also qualified to stand. TKL said he will talk to Mr GG about the possible dilution of the votes and one of them should step down although Mr GG did not know about Mr TKL's intention. But it is now confirmed that Mr GG is not qualified.

Issue is, tan kin lian can anyhow say whatever criticisms against him are ‘malicious’ and dismiss them as ‘extremist’.
But a lot of criticisms against him are valid. By dismissing them, it shows he prefers to live in his own world where he thinks he’s always right.

TKL has good chance of winning this PE against TS. Look at the number of views for people clicking to watch interview on TKL relative to interview on TS. TKL has substantially more views than TS. The statistic on views is a good proxy as an election poll. TS is overrated.
Finally, Singaporeans can have their cake and eat it in this PE. Vote for a non-establishment candidate into office to champion Singaporeans' interest locally and abroad. Do not vote TS so he may lose the PE and go back to Parliament as MP/ SM/ even PM, where his true talent lies.

We already have good WP, PSP, NMPs in Parliament voicing concerns for Sporean. President can raise charity fund under its office but cannot tell Parliament what to do with their policies. Being in the Elite RI and being offered Bursary likely mean you too a scholar class like GCT, Sham. Being from poorer than the poor, and did not take scholarship, has higher regards? NTUC Insurance has the Backing of the NTUC (govt), will grow like Fairprice or DBS. 600 times is from a very, very low base. You have my vote if you stand for General Election but not for President. Our previous elected presidents have done their jobs well and should have our respect.

Tharman - overqualified ,with his ministerial ,n international experience,exposure ,knowledge etc use him in Singapore govt on policy improvement .

It is just scary to imagine him as the president of Singapore. His views on things aren't right at all, leave aside being presidential. Able to put down opposers as malicious and sort of suggesting they won't be regarded as your people alone is a big red flags. Is Tharman immunised from having haters? No public figure is able to be so. Does Tharman or any of our political leaders describe boo'ers like TKL? Moreover the EP is meant to be INCLUSIVE and ABOVE POLITICS. When GG was eliminated my initial anguish was to Void the vote. After listening to his interview in yah lah but podcast I decided to vote for him. I find he a rational person never force his opinion but explaining instead so people can make better decision. This will make a real gracious society than a fake one.
