Woahhhh nice sharing! I toured the Balkans as well except I based myself in Sofia and took join-in tours to Skopje and Nis from there. Didn't know there is train from Sofia to Istanbul. I also visited Istanbul but I placed it as my first country before the Balkans. 2:46 well...its a "pull out" table.. Subscribed!
Thank you @thesololady! The Sofia-Istanbul train is nice if sleeper trains are your thing. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it due to the hassle of midnight border crossing.
