- In this Thailand travel vlog we arrive in Hat Yai Thailand. Hat Yai travel day wasn't easy but we have finished the day shopping in the Hat Yai night market - Asean Night Bazaar Hat Yai.
In this exciting Hat Yai travel vlog join us on our first day in Hat Yai, Thailand as we explore the city and experience its vibrant night market. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the sights, sounds, and smells of this bustling city.
We take you along with us on our journey as we share our first impressions of Hat Yai and all that it has to offer.
We start our day by exploring the local markets and trying some of the delicious street food in Hat Yai in Songhkla Province.

I feel bad every time I hear about tourists being taken advantage of. But events like this are everywhere in the world, we will meet both good people and bad people. Fortunately, good people prevail and they are all always welcoming to tourists.
Hat Yai has long been a shopping destination. In the past there was a small district named Padang Besar as a duty-free area. I think you have already visited Kim Yong Market, so I recommend that if you have time, try to visit Mueang Songkhla District for one night. It's a beautiful old city. There are strange local foods to taste.
Don't forget to visit Laem Samila. Kao Seng Beach used to be a fishing community. There is a temple on the hill overlooking the sea (if I'm not mistaken, it's called Wat Kao Seng).
I hope you two enjoy the journey.
Like you said this happens everywhere in the world, even back home in the uk, it doesnt put us off at all 🙂

1 thing that I really love about Thailand is how clean it always is compared to Philippines,Malaysia and Cambodia,I forgot to mention Laos..The cleanliness is amazing no matter where in the country I traveled in 3 months of exploring S.East Asia.
Yes it is very clean but living here for a long time now we can tell you that this is not everywhere in Thailand unfrotunately

I loved Hat Yai. I thought that the people were so nice and friendly. Please tell me you are going to visit Songkhla 🤣as it is very interesting as well. Looks like Hat Yai has changed a lot but that's to be expected. Might even give it another visit next year 😉. Look forward to seeing more of Hat Yai 😜

Funnily enough I was thinking about Hat Yai when up popped your video. Hence very curious to see how it is now. No ting tong mini-busses for me I am afraid so would fly south instead. ✈

It was so wrong for them to charge you guys for baggage on that bus and there was no room for your baggage. As you say , it was crap 😳I love the fact that you guys document the downsides and upsides of traveling. The destination is usually great despite the drag of getting there.

@@danny_and_diggy I imagine being away from home and traveling constantly and doing TH-cam would have me going crazy by now . I would truly miss being home and just back to my normal routines. This is why I admire you guys and many others who do these traveling videos not in your own countries and constantly traveling.

We love travel and what we do but travel on a budget can be a bit annoying at times 😂 Diggy likes to travel in comfort which does not go with a budget travel 😂😂😂

@@danny_and_diggy have had a nasty cough all week , but went to ao mano beach yesterday. SUCH a cool place with The airforce close by. We were quite lonley There though, got thai price for a driver that took us around The province

I just hate traveling on a van there are no space at all it is so uncomfortable i try to avoid this van when i travel but fortunately now there are more and more minibus you can choose to travel between city in the southern thailand which i think finally we don't have to travel by minivan anymore
Yeah we dont like mini vans eaither 😉 this was just a quicker option for us at that time 😊

You guys should not call a country or a place cheap like this publicly..its like you people are insulting.. cause each country has their own way of life and economy..its not Europe or America with high expense of living cost. its South East Asia
Yes and we are fully aware of that as we have been in many other places in Thailand and we say cheap as compared to other places in Thailand (our channel is about Thailand only). We are not rich, we travel on a budget so how is this insulting??? I do not know 🤔
We thought is a good thing as more people might want to travel to Hat Yai as it is cheaper than rest of the Thailand we saw so far 😉 so perfect for a budget travel 😉😊
