@@HobbybiteThe Ahsoka actor here was 100x more convincing and right for the role than the one who plays her older version. Even sounds exactly like her too
The way he tells her that she's more than her legacy was really touching. Hayden's and Ariana's acting really sold me on the dynamic of their relationship. You can tell Anakin genuinely cares deeply for Ahsoka by telling her this. He really sounded like a parent 🤧
I mean, when it comes down to it, is there really that much of a difference between the relationship between parent and child and the relationship between master and apprentice in Star Wars? Look at how Dooku speaks to Obi Wan about Qui Gon in “Attack of the Clones” or how Qui Gon speaks of Obi Wan to Dooku in “Tales of the Jedi”. Or how Anakin remarks that Obi Wan is the closest thing he has to a father in “Attack of the Clones”. So is there really any difference between the two types of relationships?
It is beautiful. His reaction when she says 'we had parted ways by now' shows a development in their relationship and language, a relationship of ages, not just an age, look at her crown or headgear, whatever works. There is a softness that manifests in all Ahsokas when he is present. And agreed, a control in him too when he's with her. He gives more to her than he takes and he doesn't seem phased by it. He trained and led many soldiers but she was the one he was more invested in seeing live, which is interesting.

To think from Yoda to Dooku, Dooku to Qui-Gon, Qui-Gon to Obi-wan and Obi-wan to Anakin it was about keeping peace to the galaxy. Anakin to Ahsoka was about fighting to bring peace. And now Ahoska to Sabine is about rebuilding. This long line of master and apprentice is very intriguing to me

"In declaring, "This is The Clone Wars™!," Ahsoka faces the truth that the scars of that time are permanent, shaping who she has become and the choices she must make moving forward. It is a powerful recognition that the past-despite its tragic and painful nature-remains an integral part of the present, defining everything that follows. Ahsoka’s words are not just an acknowledgment of historical events; they are a profound realization that the Star Wars: The Clone Wars™, in all their brutality, are inescapable. The phrase "This is" speaks to the immediacy of the conflict’s effects, not as something in the distant past, but as an ever-present force shaping the galaxy’s trajectory and her own. The Clone Wars were never merely a background conflict; they were the crucible in which Ahsoka’s identity was forged. As Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan, she was not just a bystander in this war; she was a participant, shaped by the decisions and losses that marked every battle. Her declaration is a recognition that the legacy of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars™ is not something that can be outrun or forgotten. It follows her, echoing through every decision and relationship, like a shadow she can never fully escape. This moment is profound because it forces Ahsoka-and by extension, the audience-to confront the idea that wars do not end when the fighting stops. The scars they leave behind linger in the minds of those who fought and in the very fabric of the galaxy itself. One of the most messed-up things about the Clone Wars for me is how young everyone is, and I don't just mean the Jedi apprentices thrown into open warfare as young teenagers. The clones are 10 years old. Physically, they might be 20-year-old adults, but in terms of lived experience, they're absolutely still children. The scene of Ahsoka holding that trooper's hand is one way-too-young child soldier comforting another before the latter dies. By the end of the Clone Wars, the oldest clone troopers aren't even 14 years old yet.
When she first woke up in the fog, and thrn it turned to the purple-ish hue of Teth, and i realized what was happening, I teared up. And I'm in my 40s. But I'm one of those unusual fans who grew up with the OT but love the Prequels and Clone Wars more.

Seeing a live action rex with Temura Morrison's voice was appalling. And to add onto that, all of the clones in live action with Hayden Christiansen is what all of us prequel and clone wars fans have been asking for.
The Ahsoka series has its fair share of issues (Sabine being a Jedi being the biggest one for me) but seeing these clone wars flashbacks was an absolute delight to see! I was so happy to see Rex in live action!!
I know obviously Hayden is older now than in 2005, but why does the character of Anakin seem much older during the Clone Wars than he did in Revenge of the Sith?? I never understood that.
@@aritzsantariver Like Anakin in Revenge of the Sith is really so confused with himself, his place among the Jedi, whereas in the Clone Wars, he has his own apprentice and shows some wisdom. Like Anakin in the Clone Wars seems by character in his late 20s or early 30s…..much different than in the third film.
Anakin during RoTS is sleep-deprived, under constant assault of Palpatine's nightmares and influence, completely distrustful of the Jedi and on top of that all of his friends (Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Rex) aren't around.
he became like that after seeing dreams with Padme in ROTS, he started acting like a psychopath and was very disturbed. That's normal for such moments, he had the same visions with his mother and it was true, imagine seeing the same with the wife (+ he knows he is a jedi and the visions of the jedi are correct very often)
Curious but is the first battle shown suppose to be the Battle of Teth? With the purple fog and the fact Ahsoka mentions that this was one of their first missions together?
Just seeing Anakin ignite his lightsaber and shout, "Come on! FORWARD!" gave me the CHILLS.

2:33 Finally, Captain or maybe Commander Rex with voice Temuera Morrison
I think live action Clone Wars would be in the works eh
Seeing a live action rex with Temura Morrison's voice was appalling. And to add onto that, all of the clones in live action with Hayden Christiansen is what all of us prequel and clone wars fans have been asking for.
It would be great if we had a few more moments of rex
The Ahsoka series has its fair share of issues (Sabine being a Jedi being the biggest one for me) but seeing these clone wars flashbacks was an absolute delight to see! I was so happy to see Rex in live action!!
I know obviously Hayden is older now than in 2005, but why does the character of Anakin seem much older during the Clone Wars than he did in Revenge of the Sith?? I never understood that.
Bad writing as not only does he look older but the Anakin from Revenge of the Sith and the one from Clone Wars are not the same character.
I have no problem with the series, I think Hayden is a good actor, but I think they should’ve de-aged him a bit to really sell the show.
I like that you can see rex in the background
Imagine the money Disney would make if they made anniversary live action episodes of the clone wars series
I miss clone wars series
Curious but is the first battle shown suppose to be the Battle of Teth? With the purple fog and the fact Ahsoka mentions that this was one of their first missions together?
It's ryloth
We need more live action of captain rex
Wow they made anakin’s general outfit look good that’s incredible lol
I dont care what the haters say about hayden! He played Anakin Skywalker in perfection in revenge of the sith❤
Man these scenes hit in ways
They did a great job bringing Anakin in his clone wars outfit but they got to bring Obi Wan in his clone wars outfit soon hopefully
Only part of Ashoka that didn’t suck ass
