I was watching Spike Lee film School Daze and saw Jasmine Guy singing and dancing in the film. Then find this song/video. First she did the choreography. A mix of what Madonna was TRYING to do and Janet Jackson did not have the groove to do. Jasmine has a rhythm that is very unique And perfect style for a singer that dances simultaneously. And her flexibility! Not Madonna. Not Janet. Not Paula Abdul and no one today is doing! Beyonce - nope I wish she could have done more!!!
She definitely an underated artist. How unfortunate she didn't get the flowers that she deserved as well as had to deal with an abusive husband that she eventually divorced. I'm always happy to see her perform in entertainment. I wish her the best always.❤️
