Hi, apart from the colour of the stems in winter, is the Cornus an attractive plant in summer? Does it flower for example? I always look forward to your videos - thanks for uploading. 😊👍
Hi Andrew - good to hear from you again and thank you for enjoying our videos 🌸 we grow the Cornus alba for the Winter stems and it rarely flowers but other forms such as Cornus alba “Aurea” and “Spaethii” will give you a lovely golden Summer foliage whereas “Elegantissima” gives a silver variegated Summer foliage Hope you are keeping safe and not too snowbound today 🌿
Today John is pruning back our dogwood at the front of our house - it can be very dreary in the cold Winter so a bit of colour is always welcome!
