Frost DK is really useful in this Bracket | Week 1 Cata Classic RBG Highlights

Some 4 fun RBGs with guild in Week 1 of Cataclysm Classic, to test how Frost does in this Bracket.
More Arena Videos soon! Alread played a bit of Frost in Arena and it seems to be "ok" for 2v2 but for 3s is kinda rough survival wise, unless you play an all in triple dps rush b comp with it... Seems like RBG is by far the bracket where Frost DK is most useful in (Good pressure ST and AOE, good slow/control and not relying on Pets that die ez in cleave in BGs).
The Battleground Targets Addon was bugged, the enemies had healers, also half of signed people didn't show up so we had to go with scuffed comps and just play 4 fun nothing too serious, but still managed to win vs the bg grp 1 from guild as grp 2 in a close game that was fun :D
Talents/Glyphs Setup used:
One of the DKs (Hendi) was DW 1H Frost: www.wowhead.co...

There is alot of flex points in the specs tho, Endless Winter, On a Pale Horse etc. i think its just personal preference. Same with 1H vs. 2H; both are good, i just went with whatever strongest weapons i had at the time. Obliterate talents/glyph is also not a must have, but i was trying it on 2H Spec for some extra burst, as there were more points available (no need Nerves of Cold Steel and enough Runic power with Might of Frozen Wastes).
Desecration Sub-Unholy Spec vs. Hand of Doom Sub-Blood spec is another preference thing, went for Desecration on 2H, as we had no Unholy in Grp and i felt im gonna end up Necro Striking a bit more with 2H (still both routes are possible regardless of 1H or 2H).
I have been playing alot of Unholy and Frost Dk (my favorite spec) over the past years and am currently playing Classic alot.

The control with frost dk is insane and the 40 to 50k obliterates are juicy for 2h

Hey, its not a weakaura its the addon NugKeyFeedback that simply shows on screen what spells i pressed at the moment. For Talents/Glyph:

ehh idk, in most of the games we had no rogue and not even a feral/real flag carry xd

People are actually playing rbgs in cata? Ima need that hookup mate lmao
Yep. It's fun but alot of effort to get 10 PvPers on at the same time in this bracket and queues were kinda long also, don't even want to imagine how it will be if the Cata "hype" dies down a bit. Even as a guild grp with signups we had trouble filling properly if few key slots were missing. Ultimately I think I'll mostly stick with Arenas in Cata and i am not involved in RBGs too much, was mainly filling some needed DK slots and wanted to test out Frost DK in RBGs a bit.
The guild is called on Firemaw and they are always looking for more people to recruit for their RBG groups (allmost all roles rn afaik). If you are still interested to play some rbg games, Officers are Highlifè and Neverdotx :D
@@Razoonx They definitely need to bring in xserver grouping otherwise the game mode will be dead before the end of the year 😅
@@MetaGoblin xserver grouping and queuing for pvp is active since early 2023
It was already needed for arena back then and is also helping rbgs quite alot now.
If it will be enough idk, depends on how many people want that hero title i guess.

xd its a weakaura designed only for arena actually when there is way fewer enemy classes, forgot to turn that off for rbg, ofc it goes too ham there
but it saved me once from trinketing clone into full blind at 3:37 worth haha
