Thankyou I appreciate the comment, my clear film was called ..clearseal book covering,its available in most craft/stationary stores,I still like to seal the back with resin,just to make sure it seals, it also peels off really nice afterwards...

LEDs behind might be a idea as they should not fade the colours, like how you rounded over the face of the wood to give it extra depth.

This plastic you use under the rose to apply the resin, what do you call it?
It's a transparent book covering,if you are doing smaller projects, large cellotape would work..
