I'm not generally a fan of "bad" movies but this thing is a classic. It's so obviously self-aware of what it's doing that it almost comes off as a genre parody...and Lance Henrickson is clearly having a blast through the whole thing.

This movie is ridiculous. This biker gang is so flagrant that they leave behind mountains of evidence behind, but for some reason an undercover investigation is needed. And how are these messy ass bikers taking on trained soldiers?

I hear ya, I was born in 75 so I grew up with all of the Classics which I still throw on periodically. Just watched Tank Girl yesterday and it was Awesome, I'd definitely recommend that one.
Kinda became numb to it because there were so many crazy ass action movies at that time. Even jay leno did one, but now we go back and look at these movies and damn near piss our pants laughing at how horrendously ridiculous these movies are. Commando, Die hard and last boy scout was me and my siblings favorite.

I was 11 when this movie came out and I knew about 'The Bos'.
Didn't see it till it hit cable.
Outlandish, cartoonish, hyperviolent.
I was most definitely loving this flick.
Especially when he's feeding his pet Komodo Dragon that smoothe.
This was from the same director of Action Jackson(1988) & I Come in Peace(1990), which have just as much goodness.
“Action Jackson” is gloriously stupid, such as the Ferrari during up marble stairs scene!

Let me say I love a bad movie in the 90’s and Stone Cold was one of those bad good movies. I love Stone Cold and I love the BOZ!! When this movie came out on VHS I ran to my local blockbuster and rented this gem. A few months ago I watch his Documentary on 30 for 30.

@@cluster_f1575 You may want to watch it again. He barely just got Bo at a bad angle, pretty far from getting trucked. No idea why boomers act like Brian got demolished or something in that play. His pro career wasn't great, looks like too many injuries more so than being a bad linebacker.

There was a movie in the 70s in Australia called - 'Stone' where an undercover cop joins a motorcycle gang so it seems like they took some of the plot. Or happened to have a similar idea

I love the scene where he takes out the last convenience store robber causing them to slip on some broken glass and Falls like 8 ft into a stack of canned Goods. that was over exaggerated but funny as hell. meanwhile Brian Bosworth is dressed up in a leather trenchcoat looking like he's about to rob the place himself.
Stone Cold is a early 1990s classic. Love this guilty pleasure film. Seen it on the big screen in 91, loved it ever since. And Lance Henriksen on memorable bag guy form as Chains gave the film an extra tick for me. Good times.
I've laughed hard at DT reviews for years. Not sure I've laughed any harder than the last 6-7 minutes of THIS jewel.

I love Lance Henriksen, that guy is still acting at 82 years old. But he's known for over acting and giving over-the-top performances, usually doing a lot of yelling in science fiction and horror movies.

The Seahawks stayed at the hotel I worked every Saturday before their home games. They held meetings, had a meal set up for buffet. Bozworth stayed at our hotel for a period of time at the height of the "Boz" Popularity. I remember walking behind him, his upper torso was huge, but what caught my attention was how small his hands were in proportion to the rest of him....
PS, back in the day after his career, the thing the "Boz" was most well known for as far as his NFL career was a Monday Night Football game that featured "Bo vs the Boz". @@cremetangerine82 Yup, which I also love as it's another that's really over the top. Unfortunately Action Jackson, I Come In Peace & Stone Cold were Craig's only theatrical films. He's directed a lot of other stuff after but it's all pretty much straight to television films and tv shows.

Lance Hendrickson Was at his Hype When He Was a Football Player
This movie is kinetic, like many action movies in the 85 to 95 stretch. The camp attack scene in Predator 1987 still gets my heart pumping. Every hit has weight and force and consequence.
This film reminds me of Commando with Arnold Schwarzenegger (which they should review as well 😅). I also feel like we need to go back to some of these kind of goofy over the top fun action films of the 80s and 90s.

I can see the future of the Stone Cold series now being revitalized and brought back for the new millennium lol. Get Randy Orton into the Stone Cold remake to be the new Joe Huff. Randy Orton actually resembles Brian Bosworth. At least do a continuation of the movie where Randy plays Joe Huff Jr and Brian Bosworth being his father. Make it a hard R ridiculous comedy just as ridiculously amazing as the first film

This movie was such a cocktail of cowboy cop cliches, the main character was already suspended from the cops before the movie even started!

Brian Bosworth came into the League at the same time as Bo jackson. For some reason, Bosworth had a lot of hype coming out of college. one oif the first games of the year was Seattle going up against the Raiders with Bo Jackson. The matchup was being touted. Jackson vs. Bosworth. Who's going to be the star? Bo Jackson ran over Bosworth like a Bugs Bunny cartoon. There was no doubt after that. From that moment, everyone knew Bosworth was a bust.

I liked this movie back when I was a kid lol but mostly because Brian Bosworth, "the Boz" played for the Seattle Seahawks for like a year or two when I was like 10.
That was, and still is, my hometown team.

At the start of the lockdown, Robert Meyer Burnett recommended this film on the John Campea Show. So glad he did because it is truly amazing.
Remember my dad and I back in 91 was driving through a small german town nothing to do in the evening else than going into the cinema and this was what they showed and it was on German so we did not understand a word but this cinema had tables and a bar so we pushed a button and ordered beers while watching this.

Realizing it's a Brian Bosworth "Stone Cold" and not a Steve Austin "Stone Cold" a level 10.
Realizing it's a Double Toasted review, pure ecstasy followed by a creeping panic that I have died and gone to heaven giving way to a blissful acceptance that it wouldn't be such a bad afterlife.
Look's like a monitor lizard, probably a nile monitor or something in the same class. Very picky eaters, live rodents, def no snicker shakes. More likely to bite stone and probably tail whip him.
When I was little and saw this movie I thought it was cool now that I am older I have forgotten how batshit and cartoonish this movie is.
I watched live last night and man that was one of the best episodes. I've seen this movie before from RiffTrax and it just so damn ridiculous. I'm glad Korey got to experience this madness that is STONE COLD!
Lance and Forsythe were making up their lines as they went because the script was extremely horrible. They were supposed to be speaking in a Shakespearean like tone, but they literally said fuck that🤣.
