If Mike joins a RP server/guild/fc .... we'll end up with a drama letter written by some unknown guy named Moke & how he went insane w/in a weeks time on a RP server/guild/fc.
That last story, oh my god. I don't know that I've heard a story where the author is more guilty.

Ayy a fellow factory listener. Luckily we have ear protection here. I wear big ol ear muffs over a wireless Bluetooth earphone and hear just fine

Man, that story where the guy tried to bypass the recruiting process gave me so much second hand embarassment I had to pause it multiple times.
Love that chat doesnt realsise that the jiggles complaint but still want to be taken with her OR that EVERYONE stops doing ex. I know people like that. they start drama to themselfes. if you tell a person liek that "it is fine we run without you" they will see it as people dont like her abd or dont care about her.
I don't want to shit on anyone's trauma and the things that they have been through but even from my own experience, the RP community in FF is rife with incredibly fragile and broken people. I understand the need to escape from reality sometimes but it's borderline scary how many of these people there are. I wish that they would seek therapy or something because It makes being a part of the community incredibly difficult for those of us who have managed to persevere through our hardships and worked hard to actually improve our lives rather than just accepting the negative things as character traits. I wouldn't be surprised if I actually know this person based on how tragic this first story was because I knew someone just like this that had to be kicked from our FC because all she ever did was bring everyone down.
The other big issue is that, unless you know them IRL, you can never know for sure whether they are legit or are just being manipulative. The fact that she was spreading rumors of the author being a shitty person DESPITE LITERALLY TRYING TO HELP HER, is a bit sus.
WoW RP is less tolerant of this nonsense but it still exists and this is why I've never been able to get into RP. I'll get that itch scratched with TTRPGs
@@EloquentTroll I do kind of thank these kinds of people though because it has greatly improved my communication skills, patience, and tolerance. I used to be one of those people who said "Just stop being sad."
It's not just RP... It's true about the larger FFXIV community. I've been in 2 or 3 FCs that have died from exactly this sort of drama.

My answer to a letter that long after how out of touch with their own issues that they just never improved on is Bye Felicia. Grant it I never get that far you get to that pet thing and just remove that drama from my life entirely.

Involving the first Story-Time; As a past Officer in almost all MMOs, I think any good FFXIV Officer know they should be building groups to help FC mates to get these easy mounts.
And involving Bugsy, to keep the group on a roll, I would have had Bugsy just do ZERO anything other than just focus on the mechs so we finish. b/c I am sure the group didn't need her DPS to kill it, just need her to follow the instructions that are being called out in real time. Or at the beginning of the fight have Bugsy run into the outer wall of fire I stay dead.
btw, I just saw the TH-cam video by Desperius "11 More Mounts You Can Farm Solo | Wolves & Robots & Dragons" ... any Officer in a FC worth keeping an officer should be getting FC members together to run these, pairing someone willing to help (knows the mechs that still need to be done & able to call them out) with someone in need, who is in VoIP & able to follow instructions. Sure everyone knows 99% of the time people on a MMO are looking for something fun to do, & in FFXIV getting other peoplee their mounts is considered fun.
yea and chat didnt realise that if they replaced her/said to her it is ok to not come along, she would think no one cares about her. people like that love putting drama on them selfes. Like with her RP char "no one wanted ot do rp with me" while she never engaged in rp herself and waited for others to come to her.

Technically it was easier in original wrath because they put a blanket 30% buff to HP and damage on mobs/bosses in Naxx. Means Patchwerk hatefuls hit for around 30k or so, you really needed prebis to be able to survive it, but thats really the only roadblock.

Love drama time but this is the first time I've felt very uncomfortable, in fact disappointed.
You don't ever hang out. That is someone with really REALLY bad self esteem issues, loneliness issues, feeling let down and on their own. They've been brave and tried and put their heart out but their esteem issues are that bad.
But reading out her heart to heart, (which would have been written out of desperation) was going too far. That would be crushing for that person if they heard it online. They ain't care it's anonymous. They've been having a breakdown, that breakdown has been broadcast for all the world to hear... and apparently - their pain is funny. Hilarious apparently.
That is someone who could end up doing something terrible.
Reading a personal communication like that is too much. It's not necessary, drama time can better.
It's not a good look.

Actually it's ok for the odd person here and there, but to encourage it. I found it terrifying that the attitude towards people with mental health issues is sucks to be them, get the professional help, until they get better they might have to keep to themselves and hang on.
Everything is harder than FF16. You could beat it only pressing square and R1 if you wanted
and? nothing wrong with having the option to make things easier for yourself if you want in a single player game.
Of course ff1 was more difficult, most classic games are harder than newer ones 🤣
