Yall. I'm best friends with the person who wrote in the first story. I got to hear this as an episodic second-hand account throughout the pandemic, and it gave me life. He is just as good of a storyteller in person, and when he imitates Endergamma it is perfection. It's truly what best friends are for.
Oh. And I really hope Endergamma let's him continue the tales of As the World of Warcraft Turns, because it is a doozy. I'm hanging out with him this weekend and demanding any and all new updates.
This is the first drama time I had to pause because I laughed so hard. "The bad news" of the first story really got me.

We all got the story the first time, Stolen Account story-guy. You sat there and enjoyed your friend getting bullied. You're still just as guilty.
That last story, that's the gold standard for handling guild drama goddamn. Get the problem person to enjoy a different style of content where they won't be a massive hindrance to the group. 10/10

That first story can definitely give soap operas a run for their money, and probably win.
this episode has so much in an hour. Clown fiesta to start, an obviously guilty party trying to weasel his way out of a verdict and wholesomeness to finish it off.

When I was much younger playing GW2, I made all the armor sets of my characters match the theme of my characters, so my guardian had clerics, warrior had soldier's, etc. The only class I could crit on was my thief since I put him in Assassins. Somehow I got to T4 in fractals with this shitty Clerics/Soldiers stat DH and didnt get kicked.
As the world turns is not the measuring stick for the rest of the USA. That is definitely some hillbilly stuff.

I feel like a teaching guild like the last story can be very good for the playerbase, but it sounds like they were carrying not teaching. Gear is a big part of raiding in any mmo, so they should've insisted on him learning proper gearing

Been following and listening to Preach for almost 10 years at this point. I unironically love when he says “redneck and hillbilly shit” even though I’m from an area in WV that others invented those terms to make fun of.
For a long time, I’ve considered sending in some stories. There was some redneck shit that happened in my WV guild.

On the GW2 part: Condi Druid didn't exist before the most recent patch (well not really and not for a long time) so it was an awful choice. Druid isn't hard to play either (the line "even harder" implies druid is already hard ... which it never was). Untamed on the other hand was one of the most difficult specs to pull off consistently (until it got deleted recently). Shoulda gone with soulbeast, which is a fairly simple but powerful burst power dps.
PS: Celestial can be played on a few builds, but is rarely optimal for endgame pve. The "only" group pve exception being it's power for healers that have some condi potential as they can make use of all the stats to add solid dps (assuming they can heal enough, but most fights don't require that much healing). That being said, it's fairly popular for ppl who don't do hard content or go for optimal gameplay as it can sometimes be used on multiple type of specs (usually best on condi and hybrid healer/condi builds).

I mean you can play celestial on heal firebrand and heal herald without memeing. Possibly a few other healers too depending on boon uptime requirements.
Celestial has it's places.... to my knowledge not in PvE... but it has it places.

@@daze4135 So is zerker, but open world PvE you can pretty much succeed on anything in any gear. Celestial is really only good in a handful of actual content.
