Many in the scene are musicians and performers but Vessel stands out as an artist. Never seen someone like him before. The raw emotion is palpable. It's hard not to tear up as he puts his passion on display. Worship.
It brings such a smile to my face to hear that one person miss the timing on "my insecurities..." at 1:09 and everyone giggles. Almost sounded like Vessel had to hold it in as well lol.
This song is so beautiful, I know this song is about wanting someone to stop you from killing yourself. But the significance it has to me is wanting to have my father back, he died when I was 6 and I sometimes want that father figure in my life. The part "won't you fall for me", to me reefers to him coming down from the heavens and being able to see him again. The part "oh god I wish you were here" literally just means I wish he was here. I love you dad, I hope you are good. Worship
I'm not sure we'll ever get a performance like this from them again. The fact that this is here, existing in some instance means worlds to me. I needed this tonight. Thank you for capturing this.
I just saw Beck last weekend with the National Symphony and it was beautiful. I sat there thinking how beautiful Sleep Token would sound with an orchestra.
Can you imagine being so close to this greatness you can actually lean on the stage? Man. I’m so glad they’ve blown up and gotten the love they deserve but I wish I had been able to experience them at small venues like this
I can only imagine. I was relatively close at the Hamburg show last week, but this is so amazingly intimate, I can't believe it. Especially since Fall For Me is my fav song T_T
In a city of ice there are burning cathedrals Turning the skies into glass And though echoing futures are the buckling sutures That hold shut the wounds of the past So won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me? Through a fractured existence Won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me From reality? To the rhythm of eternity Won't you fall for me? My insecurities surround me like lions in the den And I feel like I'm losing touch with what I am again And slowly I remember why I cannot pretend That I never think of you and all this screaming silence Oh God I wish you were here So won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me? Through a fractured existence Won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me From reality? To the rhythm of eternity Won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me? With my love as your garden Won't you fall for me? Won't you fall for me From reality? I am yours to the end So won't you fall for me?
I would have given anything to experience them in a setting like this. So much more intimate. I’m so happy that they have exploded with success, but I just wish I could have found them when they were not as known
These are the best Lafayette videos in existence. It just popped up, I clicked play.... now weeping.. and watching everything else. Thank you for uploading. Worship.
It took me a few listens to realize this song is from the perspective of someone begging another person to talk them out of killing themselves. I don't think I've ever heard something like that.
@@asatrumann I'm going off of what I read on Genius and the music video, so take it with a grain of salt: the lyrics make all these references to the bottom of the ocean, "city of ice" = the part of the ocean which sunlight can't reach, also a good analogy for depression, "burning cathedrals" = hydrothermal pipes in the ocean floor which spew volcanic smoke, and "fall for me" refers to how, when whales die, their bodies sink to the bottom of the ocean for the animals there to eat, circle of life and all that. So I'm guessing the metaphor is something like "I've sunk to the bottom of the ocean, come down here and save me," which can either mean "Be with me in my time of need" or "Save me from slipping into the darkness and never coming back." The music video is a little more explicit, it has all this text flashing on the screen that says things like "I can't do this any longer," "I am due a harsh lesson" and "I want to, want to, live" ("I don't want to live, but I wish I did"). All that considered, I feel safe saying that the song is basically saying "Please talk me down from the ledge, I'm afraid I'm going to go through with it if you don't.
@@DanielFreakinAwesome2That choir is 3 people, and you can hear many more than 3 voices screaming along, I think it's a mixture of the choir with the harmonies and the screaming of the crowd making it more epic.
No hate, I just wish the audience would let him sing his song. Feel like there are just moments, that you just have to listen very closely too, to let that sound "hit" ya. He's a next level musician, and I wish I could've heard his voice more.
This crowd is inconsiderate. Vocal perfection like this should be listened to. It’s not a banging rock concert. Live music is the test of vocal capabilities and these guys nail it. Shut up and LISTEN .. you are being given a gift.
You clearly are not a musician. As someone who has played hundreds of live shows the fucking greatest thing you can ever experience is hearing the crowd sing every word of your art with you. It's euphoria. So no, never shut up. Sing your hearts out.
Part of the live experience is enjoying singing along with other likeminded people. I don't want people to shut up, I want everyone to enjoy it as they want to.
You can listen to his voice on the record with headphones. Stop trying to steal peoples joy of singing along with a song that makes their heart's feel?
@@chasegibson9020 you have it backwards, you sing along at home with headphones on. At the concert that has so much more nuance and improvisation you LISTEN
BEST live vocals ever. I cried. Actually sat at my stupid cubicle office desk and cried over this recording. But oh to be there live and sing with the crowd, now that, that would be a precious moment in time. 🥲🖤❤️🩶

For a fact there have been many like him in the emotional front, none express it like him.

Definitely does sound like he is. Thank you for time-stamping it
Sounds more like he’s crying to me

That's the beauty of music. That it can be interpreted so many ways.
The choir on that amazing line, "Oh God I wish you were here " completely kills it with the extention of the word here in a higher octave..
I'm not sure we'll ever get a performance like this from them again. The fact that this is here, existing in some instance means worlds to me. I needed this tonight. Thank you for capturing this.
Truly believe that this is the most beautiful performance (the entire concert) of all time and no Im not joking.
Almost fell from my chair at 1:40
Must have felt so good to have been there, and been a part of that
Chills every time 🥹
I didn't think this song could get MORE beautiful.
Could you imagine this at The Royal Albert Hall backed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra? ❤
THE DREAM 🖤

I always manage to forget that Vessel has some of the best sounding live vocals out there....dude sounds amazing here

Vessel is the most beautiful stand out of singers I’ve ever experienced. His voice is like a wave of calm washing over me whenever I hear him sing.
As much as I love the a capella version on the album, I really wish there was a studio version of this arrangement.
God I want them to come to the U.S. so badly. I found out about them a week ago and I can't stop listening to them.
they will be at AFTERSHOCK in California
Yeah, when are they coming to New York!? lol
@Aaron Keeler also at louder than life
They opened up for In This Moment a few months ago in North Dakota, that’s how I first got thrown into the obsession hahaha
Good news
Vessels voice is pure gold ❤
While I am very proud, excited and happy for the new beginning they've earned. I am also sad. Because it will never be the same as it was.

Screw those people who paid money to see them and sing along to their songs!
You can sing at home not at a concert
Part of the special experience of being at a concert.
