@playstationracer67 I stayed well clear of the chilli/pepper races and won every standard race and got 90% and I was happy then,now I'm going for 100% (now I've got the 5 pepper a.k.a the hardest under my belt)

I was close after just getting the car and set up done, but watching your run through and explanations of what your doing, helps a lot more. I was staying in lower gear too long. I'll try again tomorrow.

One hellava race commentator Mitch, I really enjoyed listening to you at every turn. I also learned a couple things from listening to you and specifically at this particular race. It's another one I had given up on till now, I'll definitely give that car and your tune a go. I didn't know you could check the weather radar to see what tires to start out with either. Can't tell you how many races I've started with RS and need rain tires and I also didn't know about the little rain gauge. I'm starting to learn sometimes slow is faster especially when you're being chased. I tend to always drive it in to hard in the corner and do exactly what you did but it paid off for you and I don't consider that cheating at all, stuff happens. Another nice race Mitch, keep up the good work and I'll keep checking out your video's, maybe I'll learn a few things about GT7.

No clue what to do. I literally start in first and am in last place by halfway through the first lap. Same exact settings except I’m in a nismo gt3. I can’t make the car any faster. They just pass me like I’m going backwards. Dunno.
I just spent my last cash buying the exact car you had. There is nothing I can do. I am fine through turn one but by turn 3 they have all passed me on the straight. It must be a ps4/controller/automatic thing. There’s no way to keep up with them. Oh well.
I’m not saying you SHOULD do it this way but I’m saying you CAN do it this way: I was second about 1.5 seconds behind the leader, one lap to go. Coming to first corner on the last lap just rammed up the back of him, waited the 3 seconds for me to auto-spawn back on the track, came out in first (as second was 5 seconds behind before the smack). Second was the guy previously leading, right behind me so I pushed him into the grass when he came past on the straight. Usually a fair racer but man I hate the rain in this game.
Now that is a nice different approach and remembering how hard this one was to complete I can fully understand why that approach would be taken. Nice one my friend.
I tried numerous cars but this was the one for me. It was a while ago that I did this challenge but I’m pretty sure that I tried the Mustang without any luck.
Nice choice of car. I found this one very difficult but I' into some really tough races at the moment. Gone are the days of 30 minute videos to run and produce.

For me, this was one of the toughest of the world circuit races. I just kept running it and running it. The BMW as shown was by far the best car for me, but that might not be for everyone. As to why we have different speeds, that could be to do with how we exit the corners, amount of weather, lots of things. It could even have changed slightly following the recent update, but the BMW is supposed to now be better than when I recorded this video. All I can suggest, is that you keep trying. You might also find that the weather improves if you keep trying without closing down and restarting your PS5. I often find that the weather gets better doing that.

Hi, the race has been done and the video is now live online. I hope that it helps you in some small way to finally get that first place. My race is not overly clean, so there is more time to be had and a greater winning margin to be claimed.
Well done on the second place, this was really hard for me to get first and with a little cheating. Sometimes, first is just not worth the time and effort.

Changing the difficulty setting has no effect on the chilli pepper races. This race will always have Ai at the highest setting. Hence the 5 chilli peppers.
Nothing works, i am in the lead till lap 6 and than the others had a turbo boost or wtf an i can't win it. Its frustrating and games shouldn't be that way.....
This one is super hard. The only thing that I have found is that the weather often gets better the more you run the race without coming out of the race. Just keep hitting retry.
I didn't now that you can step on the run-offs in 2 of the steepest corners with impunity and even could get faster lap time because of that. I tried to do the race using wet tries and braking hard in those corners, was able to defend until 5th lap until finally bumped by 1 opponent and taken over by another. Finished in 3rd place is my best. In most attempts, I got bumped and spun, and I gave up.
This one was really very tough to complete. 3rd is not too bad to be honest. I ran and ran and ran this to get gold for the video for the channel. If I did not have the channel, I'd have dropped to easy.
What a garbage race, these other cars keep passing me. You basically have to get in front of them to block them and/or cheat to barely even win this stupid thing. And if two of them pass you by at the same time you can only block one of them, so you’re screwed.
My advice 100% would be to ditch automatic ASAP. Manual is so much better, it gives you so much more control, you'll be faster when you are used to it, etc., etc., etc.

I ended up winning the race with a Ford GT LM, it was faster than the AI cars for me.

I suck too I’m only about 1 second behind on the lap times and playing on easy just can’t improve my lap time no matter how much I try

Hi, can i use the car which is the Ford Mustang Gr. 3 for this race cause i think it has similar stats to your car which is the BMW?

GT Cup Gr.3 night race at Bathurst was toughest event for me, plus X2019 race @ Maggiore! I need a guide on how to win.
I think that I am yet to do the Bathurst race.

Without watching the video I could not 100% say. I would suspect the sprint model but I have both and flip and flop between the two without much care.

Why don't you get the " 3 - 2 - 1" get back on track warning ? Was this not a feature a few months ago ?
I can’t say that I have seen that warning in the game. Maybe it is something new.
If you have the Beginner assist on, it will be turned on by default.. You can turn it off in the assist settings "Automatically replace car to track"

Sucks that you are at a disadvantage because abuse when you are driving automatic.
