Thank you so much. We recently bought a home in the country. There were at least 50 nests on our house alone, not including the pole barn and barn. I have spent so much money to get rid of them. I am severely allergic to bees and wasps.
@@paulabecker7483 I’m so glad this was helpful to you, please bee careful out there! Sorry, I couldn’t help myself with the bee 🐝 careful pun . Have a great day and thanks for watching.
Thank you!! I was spending $7 ....$7 a for a can of hot-shot, and always had to buy 2 cans just for my porch. Also, really enjoyed the commentary. I am so afraid of wasps, now not only at home, I also carry a sprayer with the mix in my car. Thank you.
Here where I live in Washington we have to watch out for bald hornets, yellowjackets, and paper wasps. I hear ya on the sting thing I have been stung by all the nasties we have here and some multiple times in one go. Thanks for the heads up and awesome solution. Y'all have an excellent day! Good luck with avoiding the sting.
I use dish soap and peppermint oil mixed in a spray bottle. I heard peppermint oil repels them in case you don't kill them straight away... Not been proven wrong yet.
Please know how appreciated this information is; in suffering partial paralysis wearing an rgo brace, I wondered how in the world I would be able to take care of the darn wasps that I hadn't realized until after I was stung a few times just trying to enter the door plus my two little pups. One was traumatized for days, she stuck with me like glue, I felt so bad for her since it stung her right on her mouth, leaving skin/scar mark. Apparently as I was moving about, one of the boards I had propped right at the door area to bring inside slipped over, and disturbed their home. Now at least, while I will still be on guard when spraying them, I don't have to wonder how to get away....lol "Just keep spraying like crazy"
Literally a life saver. I am highly allergic to bees, wasps, hornets, etc. I was forced to move into a really old manufactured home and every spring/summer I would get a ton of wasps find their way into my home. After thousands of $$ i came across your video. Thank you so much! Now I just spray and suck them into a self sealing vacuum to die.
I recommend spraying a deturent around your house theirs a lot of things they don't like and will keep them away. I also recommend spraying every 2 weeks to a month and you will be wasp free all summer long.
I started mixing Peppermint oil,Eucalyptus oil & Lemon dish detergent in a spray bottle.Amazingly it is pretty effective.I've tried different variations and also added Lemon oil,Anything to get the fastest kill. Those red wasp(Mahagony Wasp) hurt like a MF ! Have an old Mustang that's set up awhile and those wasp set up shop in the fender wells and rear end.Difficult to get to and they will exit thru the tail lights.Tried foggers and everything else under the Sun but you can just Sud up the vehicle & add a little Mule Team Borax as well.Works great.I didn't run fast enough however and one got me on the ankle cause I was wearing flops and another one stung me thru the shirt right on my friggin nipple 😄.Yeah I said that right,I was in pain for three hours.Just preplan your exit strategy in which way you're going to run.
@@joelpritchard451 That’s awesome! I had a yellow jacket nest in my back yard and poured a whole pitcher of soap and water down it and wiped them out. Thanks for watching!
those are small compared to the nests I have to kill with my job. This one house had 7 different locations 4X's the size of those on this video and they were on the second floor roof edge. Took me a while to spray them with Wasp Freeze. No way am I spraying them with Dawn. Maybe a small nest but not when they are the size of a soccer ball.
@@ArrowPestService Today I went to a house in the Hill Country and a bunch of red paper wasps were dead inside a garage. No nest, nothing. Weird. I just learned the male paper wasps mate and then die, and the females are the one's making the nest. Glad I am not a paper wasp.

Depending on the concentration of dawn to water could you use a super soaker for those hard to reach locations?
Absolutely, That’s a great idea!
As a technician I've used a powered water gun with nothing but soap and water to get to those hard to reach wasp nest and it works like a charm
Couldnt you put that in your b and g speayer to get to the high nests or your flow zone backpack sprayer
