This whole series is brilliant. A really great way to share your thought process and help adapt ideas to a specific team and save. Simply excellent!
Massively appreciate this Steve thank you
I like that you give role options and thoughts behind that.. rather than just saying it HAS to be this or that 👍
I find some tactical vids and analysis overwhelming I find your videos simplify things
Thank you Dave really appreciated
Just wanted to say thank you !! This video really helped me understand you process of building a tactic. Found it especially useful how you moved the players into their attacking position which help me visualise the requirement from the role next to it due to the amount of space left behind . Thank you
Thank you Robert. I hugely appreciate comments like this. Glad it was some help 👍
Good tactic. The only issue I see is having a cover defender with an offside trap; the defender on cover will naturally sit deeper to sweep behind the wcb/bpd. So playing offside trap will be an extremely difficult thing to do.
When you increase the defensive width, what did you mean by " bring to the middle" didnt quite understand that part
and how do you know when to increase the width
Thanks if you can answer🙏🏽
Your content is consistently some of the best out there. Keep it up man!
Thank you Matt 🤘
I Enjoy creating defensively solid tactics but feel past fms don't reward that style of play as high press attacking systems have been much more successful, would love trying a 3 at the back Italian style formation if the match engine is more balanced or do you think it still rewards attacking systems more?
It does but I'm also having success with a counter attacking system. I'm going to wait till the full release to see if works. If it does I'll release a build a counter attacking system video
Look forward to it, probably gonna pick up fm22 with the full release. Thinking about a save with certificate trying to consede less than 10 goals over a season, maybe 3 at the back?
Even though I don't agree with all of your tactical choices (like playing a bpd and a bbm in the same vertical line), I like your overall thinking and judgement. Keep these videos (and the indiv roles ones) coming! ♥️
Thank you. This games a matter of opinions and I respect yours 👍
@@StingerNeilD Likewise.
i would like a underdog kinda tactic for newly promoted teams
I would look at the Target Forward as an option instead of the DLF, the changes made from when it was Target Man for me makes it a better option than in previous games especially if the players is a taller player (DLF for those under 5'11"). During the Beta I've found it works well with both a AF & a PF, great for a flick on or putting into the path of the AM.
Cant argue with that mate 👍 What a role its been so far
Another great video from you ! I like the alternative options you gave for the roles . Thanks !
Just watched this and it's roughly what I'm looking for, wil ltry make my own spin on it though rather than copy exact (just to feel accomplished 😂) Spot on video though and as said before the moving of players let's you visualise the game. Thank you hopefully helps me win my network save!
Best of luck dude!
Nice Content mate! This series helped me alot.
Thank you man
class vid. love your explanations of how the different roles move around on the pitch
Thank you so much
This is brilliant mate. I've been looking for this exact explanation!!
Thank you Diogo
Really good video this mate, I've always wanted to make a 3 at the back work, hope this is my year. I have just subscribed so looking forward to your future content, all the best.
Thank you very much Jamie. Massively appreciate you subbing
Great content mate watched all the videos and top class best videos out there and easily explained and like how you show different ways and roles can use. I’ve learnt a few tips to take into my own save with using the data and stuff from your videos that I was never interested in before thanks for that. I’m going start a new save and want use a 5-3-2 formation going to go Middlesbrough, with 3 Midfielders, do you think these roles would work
CM (D). AP (A). BBM/BWM (S)
Thank you very much mate. Should work. I'd have your B2B with some aggressive instructions and move into channels. Good luck
@@StingerNeilD I’ll give it a try, do you do any training yourself or any tips on how to go about doing the training myself cheers
@@sauzeee9550 I don't do a lot buddy. Only one I do concentrate on is if I'm retraining a player
Do you think this tactic would still work in fm24? And also with a 3 man midfield of a mezz, dlp and b2b, would the mezz still be on support since the dlf would be on support to drop back?
Not sure in honesty, setup sounds good, only way to find out is to give it a run of 10 matches or so
Can u please do a video about all roles movement?
Check the know your roles vids 👍
@@StingerNeilD True, forgott that. Sorry pal.
@@AndersTheRipper only 2 episodes so far pal but lots to come
This is class, could you please maybe do a 343 version since I’m using wolves and I’m struggling to find a balance with attacking and defending
Great vid as always mate 🤟
Great stuff, mate!
stinger do you use offside trap for 3 cd
Depends what team I am, how high line I'm playing etc buddy
How you would set up a 5-2-3 wide?
Loads of ways, probably a system with 2 IW/IF and a PF would be my direction
@@StingerNeilD what about 3-4-3 with 3 ST?
Excellent video 👏
Cheers Ben 👍
@@StingerNeilDnot sure I've quite got the players for this at my beloved Bristol Rovers so prob stuck with my 442 (the lopsided AMR inside forward with standard winger on the left seems to still work well in fm22 so all is not lost!)
@@Ben-wn4yw that's it mate. Use the formation that works for your players 👍
Great video mate, loved the details and in game positioning. You've just earned another subscriber 👍👍👍
Thank you mate, hugely appreciate the sub 🤘
I Play very simillar, but my AM in every role has got always rating like 6.5 with no assist and goals 😭
Somethings not right then man. Either move him deeper or simply change players in that position
All old school tacticians:
That's 5-3-2
😂 to be fair if the wingbacks were less aggressive I'd agree with them
@@StingerNeilD still I think that thanks to wide cb role in FM22 you could moge those wb's up to match midfield positions maybe that's something to do in next tactic video? 3 central defenders - 1 defensive midfielder - 4 midfielders in one line - 2 strikers
@@PolecanePC maybe mate yeah. I'm actually recording a video shortly with a similar set up about building a counter attacking system
