I think there must be a better way to trim a Pom Pom, this wastes too much material that it’s going to end into the trash, we have to be more conscious.
Hi Lucia, definitely, we agree on being conscientious. For loose, not dense pom poms, you hardly have to trim but with these dense ones, you have to really trim them down.
This is a great video as I am trying to make my pom-poms dense and I will use the waste in felting :)
Is there a way to use all the offcut wool? It seems such a waste 😕
There is a system to everything isn’t there! This is a fantastic video. My Pompom came out perfectly round. Awesome technique. So thankful.
Ha! There sure is. We're so glad to hear about your wonderfully round pom poms.
Looks great, but it is a circumference, not a perimeter; spheres only have one perimeter.
Great tutorial, and I really like your results! Thanks!
Can you tell me which type of scissor you used it's very sharped I like it.
We always use Fishers 8" www.fiskars.com/en-us/crafting-and-sewing/products/scissors-and-shears/titanium-scissors-8-175810-1004
Is there anything you can do with all that wasted yarn?
If you use 100% wool yarns it makes wonderful mulch for the garden.
