Thanks again for very entertaining history and lore. To complement the story of Wolfe, there is a song by James Keelaghan entitled Abraham that is about the battle between English and French forces, between Wolfe and Montcalm. Both died of wounds received during the battle. The song is much more than just the battle. Whenever I listen to it, I listen to it twice, back-to-back because, for me, the song has such wisdom.
At first, I was wondering how Wolfe and Grant were tied together. I thought it would be whiskey, so I eas only half right. Cheers!
