I have never once seen a Christian win a debate against a Muslim or a Jew.

"[Rabbi Singer] has said he will only debate Brown again under two conditions, the first is Brown release the unedited version of their first debate, which the version Brown has and the only public copy, is highly edited and obviously so. The Second is the Debate must be live with audience and live stream and Singer gets a copy of the recording. Brown has refused both requests."

Jesus was not just human. Silly human. Maybe go back and reread how Abraham took his son to be sacrificed but the angel stopped him and there was a ram in the bush. What is the ram a foreshadow of. Why were none of the bones broken for the Passover lamb. Why was a serpent on a pole lifted up by Moses. These are all foreshadows. In the end we can debate these issues for weeks, but like Abraham he had faith in the things he was not shown and because he believed God, it was counted as righteousness. Salvation is not by works.
Maybe go look at some of Zev Porats teachings to get an idea. Tovia Singer will never debate someone of his caliber.

There are multiple sources that claim both parties agreed to not continue the debate without having someone else to bake it up. Apparently Brown went on for another 45 minutes after Singer had left the stage and broke this agreement. I am not sure if this is what happened but multiple people have said this.

This seems like an implicit acknowledgement that Tovia Singer won that debate: "...He picked me because I was an easy target", "...didn't dig deep into the prophetic literature as understood", etc. Why is it that so many Christians seem to have trouble doing what Paul supposedly did in Acts 18:28, namely "vigorously refuting Jewish opponents in public debate, and proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah". If Christians possess the truth, and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and it is possible to prove from the Hebrew scriptures that Jesus is the Messiah, why does Tovia Singer wreak theological carnage on virtually every Christian argument I have seen him engage with? As for Dr. Brown's complaints, I personally don't think there is a need for him to debate Singer - If you want to see the best arguments he has against Orthodox Judaism's position on the Messiah, there is a six part video series that he did with Yisroel Blumenthal from Jews for Judaism [you will have to watch the the presentation/rebuttals by going back and forth from AskDrBrown to Jews for Judaism channels as neither posts the other's content].

I’ve listened to Michael’s excuses for almost 20 years now. Hi Leon. In my opinion, true debating isn't about "winning" the way you win a competitive sporting match. There is no pointing system or "championship" to be attained. It's about a robust, public exchange of ideas. So a refusal to debate is often seen as a tacit acknowledgment that one's ideas (or their ability to articulate them) is inferior. That's not always true, of course. But it's a common perception.

It sounds like there was never any debate between them, which is not the case. That's how I see it. Dr. Brown is not satisfied and obviously wants more rounds of debate with Tovia. I can see something is really bothering Mr Brown since he follows Tovia and goes on air to make a video about him. That's something Tovia never does. It seems like Dr Brown is unsatisfied with his responses when being reflective, he must feel that that actual debate was incomplete. The point is Evangelical Christians don't typically argue against Mosaic authorship, or reliability based on distance from the events recounted in the text. Typically we see those attacks from atheists.
I'm a theist who argues against Mosaic authorship. And since many of the "events" in Torah are mythical themselves, or mythologized retellings of historical events, there's no distance between the events discussed and the writing about them. They're inventions of the authors by and large. So I wouldn't argue against Torah this way myself. It's missing the point.

And the reason Tovia doesn’t debate brown is because the had an agreement not to continue their debate when the other side wasn’t there to defend their side. And what did the honest Dr brown do? Immediately after Tovia was gone he continued the conversation without him for like another 45 minutes. He also had a video stating this. But Christians will ignore the dishonesty and say he got “schooled” by brown.

There is no winning claim from Christianity about the Hebrew Bible.
The professor didn’t even argue scripture, he was trying to prove an invalid points from the Talmud and a book called “Two powers in Heaven.”
He didn’t even take time to read the surrounding chapters to make sure his points were valid, he cherry-picked and Rabbi Signer exposed it without looking anything up.
This shows a monstrous difference of knowledge between the two.

Marcion compiled his own version of the Christian scripture known as the “Marcionite Canon” and only selected certain portions of the NT.
He completely rejects the Tanakh, and was excommunicated and was labeled as a heretic by the early church.

When I went into this enquirer I expected there would be a vague middle ground filled with opinions. It was not even close. Torah calls Jews never to abandon mitzvot. Christianity calls for Jews to abandon hope in Torah and follow Jesus. They are opposites and we must all choose.

These verses speak of God’s promise to make a new covenant with His people, one where His law is written on their hearts, and they will know Him intimately. It also emphasizes forgiveness of sins and the enduring nature of Israel as a nation in God’s eyes.
The new covenant will seem new, because it hasn’t been experienced in this way, however, it is the same covenant. The scripture here state’s clearly who this is for (House of Israel and the House of Judah), you took that part out.
Jeremiah never give any NT theology, actually he gives the opposite.

These verses in Jeremiah highlight the folly of worshiping idols made of wood and stone, which are lifeless and incapable of providing true salvation or help in times of trouble. It admonishes the people for turning away from the true God and placing their faith in these powerless idols.

Th ere is no Biblical root of christianity. Psalm 19;7 says the LAW of God is perfect and CONVERTS THE SOUL. Jesus and Paul on the other hand claimed you could only be saved by confessing Jesus as your God, and furthermore Paul claimed you couldn't be saved by the law but that rather the law was done away with by Jesus' death. Both Jesus and Paul and the original 12 disciples are nothing more than false prophets.
Singer’s mission is to get Jews who have left Judaism for the idolatry of Christianity to return to Judaism, not to bring people who are not Jewish into being Jewish.
