level 1 blades look awesome but tbh i usually stick with level 5, their fire effects are way better and their design fits better with the whole norse kratos look. i also just think they make sense for the character, kratos wouldn’t want to keep the blades how they looked in greece if he could avoid it.
I feel like kratos would upgrade them purely to be used as a tool, so I feel that it would stay greek since he doesn't care for them and making them look nordic wouldn't change his view of them. The Leviathan Axe is a different story. He would definitely have it at level 5 since he values Faye extremely. Same with the spear. The spear was made withv the help of Brok, and he wanted to upgrade it since he values Brok as a person. So I believe that Kratos would upgrade the axe and spear to their max and leave the blades just as they are.
Level 1 blades looks more realistic and natural than those on other levels, just after my blades got to level 9 i immediately change its appearance to level 1.
@@ArmoredG On the downside though their appearance counter the theme of the norse games. All about Kratos learning from his past but also letting it go.
level one is definitely the best, I don't even remember how many gods and creatures I killed with these blades. And I have to say that I love and adore the decorations of level 5. Regardless, the blades of chaos are the weapons that wrote the history of Gow and therefore they are the most beautiful

1,2 and 5 my favorite. The second layer looks brutal, and the same time the ornament begins to develop. It looks like the blades of 5 level in Gow1. I don know, this is my association, imao.

2:20 i just realized, kratos actually experienced the same pain from the 2005 gow game, where ares seared the chains to his wrists.
But I think Current Kratos feels less damage because he is stronger and used to it more than he was !

I disagree, kratos looking Norse is fine but those are greek weapons so they shouldn't look Norse

For it's level 1 when they start glowing I get that glory of an old power feeling evertime I see it.
